Yeah, I’m an EE, and the only thing I know about concrete is that we put transformers on it and pour it around PVC. Sometimes we even put metal shit on it to hold up other metal shit in substations.

Yeah, I’m in my 30s now, with a bad back from many sources, I think my Laser days are probably behind me, but it was a fun boat. I did hate rigging it though, not being able to lower the sail drove me nuts. 

Yeah, but the Laser in particular takes a ton of core strength. The hiking position is more difficult, and there’s a TON of body english that goes into sailing one fast, especially in chop. They’re constantly working the boat in and out. It’s exhausting, and I’m not even good at it.

Yep, it gets absolutely launched. It’s only in a few frames probably. Someone with the actual video should see how many frames it’s in and estimate its speed.
