My father in law and I were out to a family dinner when we got the news. His dad was with us. All three of the men went outside for a bit to cry and talk. All car guys, they were a big part of a lot of our lives. 

Car Talk was Saturday mornings with my dad in the den. A time I miss greatly but didn’t realize at the time, as such things usually go.
