haven’t really gamed on my Xbox One in years, been on the PC. was thinking about getting a series X eventually because of the backwards compatibility but now I’m thinking about passing on it completely and just hanging onto my 360 and Xbox One if I ever feel slightly nostalgic.

think of the thumbstick as a head. if you look down at something in front of you, if your head were the thumbstick, it would push forward. looking up, the thumbstick would be pulled back. at least that’s how I try to explain it to my non-inverted friends lol

precisely this. child of the 80s/90s here. one of the first FPS games I played was Top Gun on NES. I remember thinking you had to use the d-pad like a flight stick, down goes up, up goes down. got used to it since so many first person perspective games consisted of flying. I always invert y-axis, EXCEPT with a mouse.

I bought an Elite controller pretty early on, I was stoked to see an alternative to Scuf, first party, and cheaper! I mean aren’t they still cheaper (with 4 paddles) than the 2 paddle Scuf controllers?

I’ll at least say this about my Xbox One Day 1 Edition - it still works. I did have to replace the power brick, but that’s one nice thing about having an external power brick; however, the console itself is still huge without an internal power supply so I guess it helps keep it cool or something.
