The only thing I remember from that movie is her bouncing down some stairs. I always try to remember that when I see her nowadays.

Agreed. Green Wing is kind of hit or miss but she was fantastic in it.
Highlight of the episode right there. Rafi elevates every episode he's in.
The fantasy talk on this show is always kind of weak since they have to film it so far ahead of time. I didn't understand selecting Knile Davis that high either. Demarco Murray would have been a much more relevant mention. And the Redskssss…..er, Washington players are not that great either.
"Seriously, from a fantasy prospective Pete is doing an excellent job streaming at the GF position week to week."
I'm with you on this "discomfort comedy". When it's balanced like it was on Seinfeld, Curb & Peep Show, it's great. But this show along with Gervais and Merchant's post-Office shows go too far in that direction.
Isn't she the one on Two and a Half Men? I think her 4 or 5th place on the cast list on a huge CBS sitcom earns significantly more than the lead and creator of an IFC show. In other words, buy your own damn vacation home Amber!
Get in line pal!
Of course I've seen Party Down! Maybe what I should have said was "Lizzy Caplan needs to be BACK in the comedy scene somehow".
1) Lizzy Caplan needs to be a regular on this show. She needs to be in the comedy scene somehow.
2) Jason Mantzoukas should always be bearded. He looked so creepy in that first scene.
3) Is Kroll really out for the season? That would be an Adrian-Peterson-type loss for the show.
In that scene where Russell is describing the wines, Pete does make a kind-of weird hound dog face. I'm not sure if that's an acting choice by Mark Duplass or just how he normally looks.
My new fantasy team name!
It was definitely better than a C+. B+ or A- for me. If only we could rate these episodes ourselves so the collective commenter grade could be compared against the reviewers….
Yeah but the critical respect (not so much the success) afforded to Friends bugs me as it is a more photogenic yet weaker copy of Seinfeld.
Seinfeld > gaping chasm > Friends
Will you write Season 2 for them? I found your post more interesting than most of this season.
4) They didn't know any girls and would follow the only one who would talk to them anywhere?
I really wanted to like this show due to its premise, but aside from maybe episodes 8 and 9, it never lived up to its promise. I think if they would have scrapped all the mystery around Joe's character (which was really just a less-interesting and more melodramatic Don Draper) and made him more of a Jobs to Gordon's…
Yeah actually punching that guy might have been the biggest clue. I forgot about that. Good call.
Also, I don't know if it's been discussed here before but is the implication that Bosworth is gay? Failed marriage, "friend" who answers his door and helps him out no questions asked. I might be reading into it too much, but then again, this show isn't that subtle.
