I call this move “Repairing the Glass Ceiling”
I just have to let you know; we have a little chalkboard in our living room (because we have kids) and we started writing things on it that we heard or read and we wanted to remember.
“According to Saeed Mamouzini, spokesperson for the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the woman struck back on September 5, murdering Abu Amas.”
Any beliefs of non-violence I have are suspended when it comes to these fucking monsters. This woman did the world a public service.
All of that and “I’m sorry we’ve failed you so utterly.”
Must agree, though there are some organizations that are trying to help. Some universities are offering free education, even teaching in English. Other (in Brno, Olomouc) are offering some other forms of help, but there is no interest. I do believe that it is partially because the not-so-welcoming attitude, though big…
I can only imagine fleeing for safety with my child in my arms and some motherfucking asshat tripping me on purpose. Un. Fucking. Believable.
At the moment she was tripping those people she was, to me, the worst person in the world. Just in that moment only. She was. Yep.
The one when he bent down and had the kid touch his hair is the defining moment of his presidency for me. It knocks me out every single damn time.
I was fortunate enough to attend one of his pre election speeches in Portsmouth, NH. The thing that most stuck with me was the body language between he and his wife as they made their way from the stage and through the crowd, and then out of the venue. It was so natural and caring. If they have kindness and respect for others as well as a sense of self worth then I know I'll have done something good for them and the world. My…
“When Michelle and I came into office....”
if you froze & you couldn’t move or say anything... that is hella normal. You didn’t do anything wrong. Your body did whatever it thought the most viable survival plan was and it WORKED because you are still here. So don’t blame yourself for what you did or didn’t do. You did exactly what your survival instructs made…
I will not judge someone for how they heal what others broke. She's not hurting anyone. I wish her well.
I grew up in NYC as well. I know people who did the junior year nose job. I still think the teenage years are a shit time to make decisions like this when you are still growing mentally and physically. I don’t care how “deformed” you look, high school plastic surgery is not a good thing.
