I wish a think tank somewhere could do a project where they scan the brains of bad cops. There’s got to be something physically or chemically wrong with these people.

If you grow up near Boston Papa Gino's gets ingrained in your heart (literally) due to its connections with local sports teams and tendency to be in malls/arcades. The pizza isn't fantastic but you could do worse.

If it's a pizza place, I guess I say "a large pepperoni." If it's a place that does a couple of things (we have this BBQ joint that also makes awesome pizza), then I might say "A large brisket pizza, add jalapenos." I guess it's just that nobody says "pie" here unless they mean chicken pot, apple, etc. I think it's

Funny — a mention of MA's great pizza and no mention of the famous MA "bar style" pizza? Pshhhh. Order some today, and don't forget the "burnt edges."

Smoots?

Heh, I was once talking with someone who used to live in Somerville and when I mentioned I lived there, she said "Mamma Lisa's or Leone's?" It's definitely a dichotomy. I used to live pretty close to them and would get slices all the time, the dudes working there were a hoot.

Porter Square is better than Davis.

Leone's in Somerville is the jam. Pinocchio's in Cambridge is magic. Santarpio's in Easie is fantastic. Why hate?

That's very interesting and thoughtful, thank you! Your explanations make sense.

Santarpio's in East Boston. Wood fired underneath the ovahpass.

Didn't realize that Santarpio's moved to Cambridge.

Santarpio's is tha truth.

Feta, I agree, but ricotta is a pretty common pizza topping - think the Sporkie at Bertucci's, for example. Or, any white pizza or Calzone usually has it in the mix. If a place doesn't have it, I question their pizza credentials.

Somerville has had an insane turn-around. Its probably the best city in America.

Regina's has expanded to the suburbs, but if you get a North End Regina's pizza, it will change your life. Happened to you, happened to me.

I'd say of all the MA towns, Allston is the best.

I went to Regina's in middle school and my life has never been the same.

If you wait 3 minutes to let it cool and you don't mind getting sauce all over your person, picking up deep dish slices and cramming them down your throat without untensil help is really fine. It assists in tricking your stomach into eating twice as much of it as you can physically handle.

Cambridge pizza is way better than Boston pizza. Like by miles.

New York then Boston then everything else is fucking trash.
