Supposedly they allow the Unibody ones to tow (the new Tauruxplorer only tows 5k though). Oh, and they allowed the Mountaineer and Aviator to tow, supposedly their logic was that the truck was fine, but there were ambulance-chasing lawyers just looking for the next Explorer wreck to profit from it.

2003 was 3rd gen though.

I was able to carry a 4x8 sheet of 1/2" FOAMULAR® inside a TrailBlazer EXT with all the seats down because it’s slightly bendy, and there was like a 2" overhang over the front seat (I guess being 5'3 comes in handy every once in a while - seldom enough that it doesn’t outweigh the cons).

But parkability on the crew cab decreases exponentially. One of my dream rigs is a white, gen 1 F-350 XL crew cab with an 8' bed, a ladder rack, dents and scratches and one of those yellow Igloo coolers. One day I saw my dream rig parked right by where I was watching planes at the airport and it dawned on me that such

I must say, for the first time in 9 years, the Camry doesn’t have that “I just drove this off the Hertz lot” look.

It also requires the wider track axle found on the F-450, which I’m guessing comes standard with the 10 lug hubs (or wider 8's), 19.5" wheels and load range F or G tires.

I guess they wiped it like... with a cloth.

That’s.... less than what a brand new 2WD Tahoe goes for these days.

The only FCA product that doesn’t depreciate like Venezuelan currency.

Did you get it for sub-Rubicon money?

The 7600 mod seems to be popular in Guatemala. Never saw those hoods in Panama, S1800s and 3800s were far more prevalent there.

I’d be interested to know if surge pricing is more common when you’re using a card that’s marked as “business” instead of “personal”.

Which brings an interesting thing.

Well they’re kinda yellow.

GMC Suburban, except that generation had a body colored grill and headlight surrounds. Only the SL trim had a grey grill, but it came with different headlights.

Brazil beat you to it.

I wouldn’t like to have a flat when towing and all I have available is a donut.

Doesn’t look like it. Some websites are saying that magnetic ride control will only be an option in the High Country with the High Desert Package.

Buy an XL/STX or XLT (do they sell the STX in the Super Duties?) and get a set of King Ranch seats on eBay.

I just wish they’d offer an off-pavement option for the High Country, downsizing the wheels to whatever the minimum is required to clear the calipers (18"?).
