Social media means fringe thinking gets a lot of publicity. All Republicans aren’t Q supporters and all progressives aren’t complaining about accents.  There's extremists on both sides.

I definitely consider myself liberal/left, but I often find myself pretty disgusted by how much discourse on the left sounds oddly like it’s promoting separation of the races. 

I was hoping for Cinderella’s “Don’t Know What You Got (Til It’s Gone)“ but I guess “Home Sweet Home” is more recognizable.

I really hate this fat suit argument. Being heavy is not an immutable characteristic. Punishing a thin actor by not letting them play somebody who either genetically or otherwise happens to be heavy is ridiculous and has nothing to do with acting. One thing I found out more and more and South Park has been playing with so much is that this very blatantly political humour works if it aligns with your thoughts. You are never going to find it funny when it goes against your beliefs or if you think it is punching down. Been guilty of that quite a few times.
