From what I remember, tv shows have been using the same laugh track recorded from I Love Lucy. I saw a documentary about sitcoms and they played clips from nearly every show that was on from Lucy til the mid 2000's and pointed out a specific laugh that was in all of them.
Well, technically, she is American. Canada is part of the continent of North America.

When I download tv shows, they’re usually ripped from the web, Canada, or the UK airings and are uncensored, for the most part. I can’t watch a show on tv that originally aired in Canada or the UK when it airs here because they get edited to shit.
That’s one of my all time favorite movies.
I work at a shopping center that has a movie theater. For the past 10 years, whenever a F&F movie comes out, you know exactly who just watched it by how the assholes tear around the parking lot in their cars.
For the most part, I watch The Flash because of the crossovers. It was the same thing with The Originals and Vampire Diaries.
Maybe they’re going to just say, “Fuck it!” just like the mythology in the Highlander movies.
Good. I was at a show at a club and I could barely see the stage (I was less than 30 feet away) because of people holding up their cell phones and iPads (yes, fucking iPads) for the entire concert. I know, a concert at a club, but hell, the bands I like don’t sell out arenas anymore.

Yeah, I (along with everyone else) had one every year when I was in elementary school in the 80's. I didn’t see a one when I was in high school in the early 90's.
