There are some characters I would like to see return before the show ends and the American jazz musician is one. I wrote an article about why this is unique.

I want to see a storyline where Jack Ross, the handsome, hot, charismatic jazz musician, played by Gary Carr, is related to Patrick or to one of the other lords who traveled abroad.  Lord Grantham is invested abroad in Canada, so we know these guys invested and traveled abroad.  Who were their children?  Great mystery.
