I mean, the Rachel Bloom thing was also bad because her husband was a writer on the show and they had met multiple times. So he was just being an asshat.

It’s been on since 1963 (My mum watched it as a kid) so 60 years. it ran until 1989, then relaunched in 2005.
This is weird, right? I know pop culture figures can’t be omniscient about all other pop-culture properties out there but given NPH’s geek cred this is somewhat vexing.
The 14th Doctor is only going to be around for the 60th anniversary specials.
I seriously doubt that would be the case. The vast majority of console sales will come from casual gamers who don’t even know about PC mods and definitely don’t watch Youtube videos about them. That said, even if it was true, Rockstar makes money regardless of where you buy the game so they shouldn’t care if it sells…
To be fair, we are talking about the long-awaited sequel to the game that has consistently been in the top 5 most popular, highest grossing, best selling games every year for an entire fucking decade since it’s release.
Torrenting can't be stealing if paying for it isn't owning.
Yup. I mean, partly 4k streaming is worse than regular 1080p bluray disks, due to bitrate restrictions, and 4k blurays are just legions better, but more importantly, companies are just terrible at dealing with their digital libraries. I’ve been swooping in on essentially every cheap 4k sale to make sure I’m not losing…
All of the MCU movies have extensive reshoots though. I could’ve sworn they even bragged about it at one point. Last-minute reshoots were highlighted in all those articles about how bad crunch is for Marvel’s VFX vendors. It’s probably why these movies cost so much money too, which is why they need to make so much…
It’s a much better movie than a lot of the post-Endgame stuff. I think the biggest issue is that people paying for Disney+ no longer feel like paying even more to see every MCU film a couple months earlier. There’s no sense of urgency to justify that extra expense now.
Ortega was co-lead of the last two movies, which were big hits. She’s a household name among the target demo (gen zs who go to the cinema). Judging by the box office of the last one, they don’t care much about Campbell being missing, but I think the studio are underestimating how much of a draw Wednesday Adams is.
Based on this I’d imagine Barrera wasn’t fired for her comments, and that was just a smokescreen for scrapping this iteration of Scream because of the loss of Ortega. And I’d imagine Barrera was probably asking for more since she’d now be the sole lead, and they jumped on her posts to pretend it wasn’t because of the…
How to effectively kill a legacy horror film franchise in just two films - The Gary Barber story.
if that kramer vs kramer vs godzilla joke is any indicator this will be the third funniest movie of 1985.
It looks like Marvel Studios’ plans [...] are solidifying behind the scenes… or they’re undergoing even more upheaval and are less solid than ever before.
As a white male, something 90% of culture used to be aimed square at us. So now that its like down to approximately 75%, I get that it feels like a huge drop off. But to whine and moan about the awful “enormity” of how inclusive media properties are nowadays is just about the most pathetic thing I’ve ever heard.
(Also,…
It’s the fact that it’s EVERY. SINGLE. Franchise and adaptation.
“Most “angry white guys who hate women, etc” aren’t upset that women can be heroes, or black people are replacing white characters, or that LGBT stories extist”
I’m seeing double!
Don’t do that. He’ll just get closer.
