Gonna miss this show. As a Hong Kong Canadian (and a Wong/Huang no less) there’s a lot about the show that resonated with me. Khan did a great job in giving the show a unique feel while still wrapping it in the standard plots of the modern sitcom.

Yeah, I had a similar reaction. Especially considering the job of Miss America is probably the least important job in the world and there are astronauts who are married and seemed to have done quite well at their job in space for a year. (The dog really, really missed her, though.)

Ugh ok, I honestly don’t want to defend MA or anything having to do with it, BUT.

My favorite line...

I think MA’s heyday was back when there were three networks and no internet and many fewer opportunities to anonymously ogle women for an hour.

They also have to be single.

I’ve never had Thanksgiving with neighbors. Family gathering for Thanksgiving is what I know. It depends also on whether family lives driving distance away or has to fly in. If they have to fly in, often they come for Thanksgiving instead of Christmas and spend Christmas at home. Or vice versa.

I recently had to replace my Mac. It was rough going, I had lots of questions, so I spent hours on the phone with Apple tech support. After a half an hour of useless input from people who seemed pretty young but very friendly and engaging, I would get put on hold and called into a “senior advisor.” They were also

JT isn’t really worthy of Jessica Biel and she’s an anti-vaxxer.

But who is more internet savvy? Look at all the mommy blogs (and commenters). I think shaming comes in all ages.

I see it from different age groups,  but the experience is different.   My son is a only child,  which tends to be the source of judgement from the 55+group and the reason for invasive personal questions from those younger.

People seriously need to back the fuck off from judging her on her choices as a mother. Conversely, some judgment would be a welcome response to her hipster-racist bullshit like “Walk of Shame” (omg walking thru *scary hoods* w/ actual Black ppl, u guys) and “Pitch Perfect 2" (cuz, like, human trafficking of

There’s been a rumor for a while that JT and Jessica Biel are no longer together. Maybe it’s true after all.

The Grindr hookup one really freaked me out. There was another story that year about a woman sleeping in a pick up with a camper top in a national forest that gave me the willies too (I don’t think it was a finalist), and another of someone backwoods camping in a hammock.

The Grindr hook up STILL gives me shivers.

This is the one that creeps me out so much. Because it’s real life shit. It was men working on the apartment next door. They cut a hole in the wall behind the dresser and would just push it out of the way when she wasn’t home just to fuck with her.

Nothing scarier than a creepy abandoned house in the middle of nowhere. What they found in their house was so freaky, I wonder the back story. Like maybe a caregiver killed the old couple and used the house for demented rituals. For sure there were bodies in that pit in the middle of the floor.

Oh, god, the Grinder hookup one. That one and the (similar to this year's crawlspace one)about the woman who lived alone with her big dog who eventually discovered that her neighbors were peeping on her are some of the most frightening things I've ever read.

The one where the men were living in the wall still gets me. She kept finding her house covered in dust and couldn’t figure out why, mail was disappearing etc.. Turned out they were just hanging out behind her dresser (I think?) watching.

This is less scary and just paranormal..
