I am not a moderator for Jezebel nor am I responsible for the arguments that break out in its pages. I dismissed the threads for exactly the reasons stated in my post: all of the threads. Those by Meteor and those by Peaches and Mortal Dictata.

It’s been mentioned before that most of her nasty comments come a day or two after the story drops off the front page. I only visit the most recent day or so worth of articles, so I don’t see if someone adds a nasty new comment to a week old thread.

I’m concerned about Meteor, yes. And my messages of support were, again, in order that she not feel completely isolated. #TeamMeteor was to show exactly that, and it was in the beginning of this entire episode: I make no apologies for having sent messages to ease someone’s palpable anguish.
