Which party would that be? The democrats nowadays are just as likely to push “intervention” as the republicans. And when you’ve got a democratic candidate that’s truly against intervention, like Tulsi Gabbard, her views are mocked and she’s deemed a Putin/Assad puppet.     

If we’re going to have digital displays, it should be something fun. Replicating a physical dial seems “meh”. Show me a speedo and tach that use a flip-clock style display. Or a speedo that shows the speed in roman numerals.  Or giant, colored numbers in comic sans.

If they don’t want to drive stick, then they wont be rich housewives for long.

(Note: The showrunners have said Daenerys burned King’s Landing spontaneously because she got mad while looking at the Red Keep, as it was a “symbol of everything that was taken from her.” I think this is stupid and I don’t agree with it.)

Counterpoint: Americans are bad at math, especially when it comes to gas/mpg. They’ll take a $3-4K loss when selling an SUV to save $100/month in gas costs when prices spike (which is almost always temporary).

+1 Daenerys had every reason to do what she did. Almost all of the support that she used to get to King’s Landing is gone, either by dying or betraying her. She recognized that she might get the iron throne but she wasn’t going to keep it for long since John has the better claim and the people would support him. Fear…

The solution is simple: Jalopnik crowd-funds the purchase of a VW Golf Harlequin. Every time some Jalop has an issue with an HOA/management/neighbors, lease it to them for a couple months @ $1/month + they have to send in every nasty email/text/tweet that they get (because they’ll be fun to read).
