That’s not even close to assault* It’s not his mic. Acosta had the right to hold the mic, but then that right was rescinded. Her attempting to take the mic back despite him physically blocking her, doesn’t turn her actions into an assault. 

Acosta doesn’t hit her; however, he definitely made contact multiple times in order to block her from grabbing the mic. Not the crime of the century like the WH is portraying, but Acosta is a professional and should act like it. You can still ask questions without a microphone in your hand.
