God, I enjoyed the movie until that terrible ending. It was just so inconsistent with everything else in the film. The audience in my theater started groaning and jeering at the screen when she lit up the bottle of scotch.

Ok, so is io9 just not doing recaps anymore? Nothing for The Flash this week, nothing for The Expanse, nothing yet for Arrow. Now we’ve got this half-assed article for Rebels... I mean, if recaps are over, it’s disappointing, because they usually added some interesting commentary beyond just a summary of the show. But…

Hold up... when was the last time Nicole Kidman was a good sign for any movie? When was the last time she could “do almost any movie she wants”? What was her last movie that wasn’t a bomb? Paddington? Before that, I guess Happy Feet. I don’t think the success of those films had much to do with her star power.
