Because 6 3/4 litre twin-turbo. That is why.

I know that, and that is precisely my point. The 'old timers' complain about how everything new is crap and 'made of plastic' because that is what they see. They don't see the high strength steel, crumple zones, and everything else under the surface.

Yup. Everything may be "made out of plastic" now but cars are also engineered for safety. There is a reason why auto fatalities have been steadily dropping over the years even though there are more cars on the road.

I don't really understand why this is illegal? I guess trade agreements with other countries?

This should help my Boeing stock

I think it is to help differentiate between the automatic-driving moron riding the brakes and the person making a panic stop.

The 5-cyl didn't go on sale (in the US anyway) until 1993 and that was in the FWD 850.

If so, is this really a bad thing? This country isn't getting any bigger (geographically) but population will continue to grow. To me, this means that if we have any interest in preserving farmland, parks, green space, waterways etc that we will need to increase density which in turn makes mass transit more viable.

JD Power is owned by McGraw-Hill. I'm sure there is no bias there.

It's because the methodology of this study is a joke.

N- The JD power initial quality study is bunk. The primary purpose is to market it to auto manufacturers for their ad campaigns.

Thankfully human drivers are infallible and there have been no auto accidents in over 100 years. Oh wait.....

I don't think Jersey wants them either.

I am going CP on this one.

Well a portion of SR-17/I-86 runs through the village limits and is used to generate revenue. Hell, that is what happened to the guy in the story.

It's a dump. It was probably fairly decent back in the heyday of the catskills but has been in constant decline for at least the last 30 years. My dad worked there for several years in the 90s and didn't have much positive to say about it.

Well, Liberty is a pretty big shithole.....

Off-road you say?

Limited, rare, classic cars.

8th - I don't see why every car that has a manual and electronic throttle today doesn't have this, at least as a feature you can turn on/off.
