I think the horse is an excellent analogy. The thing is that people who are still very passionate about them will do what they have to in order to make it a possibility. Maybe it's living in the country or working at the barn a few days a week.
Agree and disagree. I think you are right on all of the benefits of the autonomous cars but once they are widely in use I could see 'manual' cars as being banned from (at least some) roads. I see a rise in private car clubs and tracks for those of us that would want to enjoy driving.
