I don’t think you’re aware of how much treatment of mental illness in the US is severely lacking. The mentally ill are having rallies with thousands, ever heard of Q-Anon?

And most of these will be driven casually as well, but their size, weight, silence and quickness combined are going to kill people, just so some rich assholes can show off. It’s just not necessary.

I don’t think they’re “bastions of responsibility”, just more so than rich attention seekers.

Read the last paragraph, also my point about them being status symbols is that these will be driven by people who just want to be seen driving them, likely far less responsibly than the buses, tucks and other heavy commercial vehicles out there. 

There’s going to be so many of these around, I hope they all end up just running off the road into a ditch or some trees before they manage to squash smaller cars or pedestrians. These are status symbols, nothing more, just like the old Hummers.

17 years, and what you say applies to her for sure, her parents were pretty awful actually. We have it pretty well worked out, just thought I’d mention it as a tip here.

They give that kind of thing to people who come in on the same day it was donated from what I understand.

Sometimes it wouldn’t hurt for my partner to say “Hey, I’m trying to ____.” Just come right out and say they’re looking for some kind of attention. I try to pick up on these clues, but I’m not perfect, occasionally my mind is elsewhere.
