Love the comments saying “I needed one for a project at my house with materials around 6,000 lbs.” or what-not. So they drive one of these 365 days a year, paying a huge premium on gas mileage, because they had to deliver materials on a personal project once or twice for a day or two. I’d be surprised if the stuff

Cool, no harm done :)

This is true, though it has nothing to do with my height. I’ll take comfort knowing that statistically I’ll live longer than you.

The title’s wrong, it should read “How to be an asshole to someone shorter than you”.

Yep, and you’re right there in the padded room with the straight-jacket on, drooling with the rest of them.

Here’s my theory: They liked him because all they knew was he was a rich white guy, which in their minds automatically means intelligent and competent. Maybe they thought he was a little brash, but they probably liked that too. Once they discovered what he’s really like, they can’t reconcile that with the fact that

Isn’t that how it is already?

Thanks for the detailed explanation! It seems to be catching on and I’m happy about that mainly for the positive environmental impact, so I hope it survives until it’s at a reasonable price. Like organic food and vegetarian products, I don’t think it will be a real revolution unless it’s actually cheaper than the

I heard on NPR this morning it’s $8.99 for 12 ounces. Too much if you ask me though I expect the price will go down.  I’d try it but it’s gotta be cheaper than real beef for it to catch on for me.

So you got called a centrist and you’re calling Bernie supporters children.  Don’t you see the irony in that?

Read the whole article. My point that voting matters still stands, and honestly I was tired of arguing this point 3 years ago. If you’re that passionate about not voting then don’t, apathetic losers should stand on the sidelines where they belong anyway.

If they are putting lives in danger call it in. Like you mentioned, unsecured loads (mattress, etc.) and obvious driving under the influence should be reported without hesitation.

If enough people voted in states that were close, like Michigan for example, Trump could have lost. It was not predetermined. But assuming you’re correct, what do you propose we do about it? I mean besides nothing, which is what you are implying.

Of course I understand the popular vote doesn’t determine the winner in a Presidential election, otherwise Trump would have lost by over 3 million votes. But I don’t think you understand how the Electoral College works. The electors don’t just get to decide who they like and vote for them, they pledge to vote for a

So you’re saying people shouldn’t bother voting. If that’s not what you mean then say so, because when I talk to people who say they don’t vote it’s because someone said something like this to them or they read it somewhere. They think their vote doesn’t matter, and guess what, if enough people believe that then it

This. I’ve always said I’d vote for a literal turd if it was running against the one in office, out of principle. At least it would do no harm.

Bill-Bob Briscoe there is trying really hard to get that squinty-eyed John Wayne/Clint Eastwood thing going. It’s not working, looks more like someone stole his ice cream.

Yet his morning the supposedly unbiased (liberal by conservative standards) news outlets couldn’t praise his performance enough. They’ve already decided he’s the nominee. Sanders and Warren will split the progressive vote, so if he doesn’t drop out we’re screwed. I can see Trump winning if Biden gets nominated.

Yet when I read AP News and listened to NPR this morning it was all Biden, Biden, Biden and how well he did, the other candidates didn’t really put a dent in him, etc.  WTF?!

Every vape product is flavored, they only sell non-flavored vape juice so you can mix your own. Nobody wants vapor with no flavor, it’s like drinking warm water instead of your favorite beverage.
