Glad you discovered that all American cheeses are not the same. I recommend Land O’ Lakes, it’s got the flavor of yellow American but the texture of a “real” cheese, sort of like cheddar but a little softer, but it still melts smooth. It’s in a different league from any of those pre-packaged singles.
