Just a tad over the 80k ish threshold....just a tad, lol.

I find myself liking it, personally. It’s like a Ferrari ran into a Decepticon in a dark alley in a rougher part of town.
the first ugly mclaren.
I want to like the styling because it is suitably exotic, but it isn’t working for me. Something about the car just doesn’t feel right. And those big headlight cavities aren’t helping.
I think the new 570 looks somewhat handsome, if a bit giddy looking.
i *hate* it’s styling. it’s a fucking hot mess. the through-line is nonexistent, the stupid door cut-outs, and those god-awful headlights.
This car is such a visual mess. So many lines, creases, things; it’s hideous.
Did you buy a 350Z when it was new? What new cars did you buy instead, that would convince Nissan to re-invest in the sports car? Hmmm. Let’s see. BRZ sales have stagnated. Mustang sales are down from 12,500 in March 2016 to 9,000 and that STILL beat the 7,000 Camaros and 6,000 Challengers.
They probably can’t make a business case for a renewed 370Z right now. Car sales are falling through the floor while CUVs are soaring.
God damn, Nissan, replace the 370Z already. The basic chassis and engine architecture literally predate camera phones (yes, really, the 350Z predates the first camera phone).
Oddly if they had the cash I see Ferrari as the perfect buyer for Ducati. Lots of potential synergies and no overlap and their race teams still have Phillip Morris/ Marlboro as the main sponsors of both even if the name is not emblazoned on the car/bike.
Straight up pikers compared to Harley’s “lifestyle accessories” empire. I’m pretty sure they sell motorcycles along with the Motor Co. branded bullshit.
Ducati was a mini Ferrari with the branding and merchandising long before VW got involved.
You’ll pick up weight because of the forced induction, but not 200 pounds. You can get wider wheels with stickier tires that weigh the same as stock. Switching to AP racing (or other brakes) up front will save weight compared to stock. Better suspension will be close enough to stock to not matter.
Because you won’t be spending $10k on maintenance and repairs over two years?
The thing is, most BMW interiors today are kinda chintzy for a BMW interior.
You call it tiny and cute, but the BMW 228i weighs 3,300 pounds. The Toyota 86 weighs 2,700 pounds. On paper the 228i actually has a slightly worse power-to-weight ratio than the 86/BRZ/FR-S.
They’re cheap for a reason. These are literally the Chevy Cobalts of the BMW world.
“Just kill me”
I surmise that this rabbit died when it was dragged out of the cargo hold so that some employee rabbits could be placed on board.
