I would not day “nothing.” The track two talks were an attempt and efforts were made to work with Pyongyang.

It’s kind of hilarious to me that you bring that up in an article about a guy getting drunk and wrecking his car. It’s more the image my imagination conjures than anything else.
Honestly the Miata 97 and the Corvette have been very reliable. The Corvette has only had the oil sensor leak and the Miata couple of 02 sensors and a slave cylinder. They are made on earth not heaven so they will eventually need some form of maintenance.
Owner of a 2002 WRX. Other than the normal wear-and-tear crap (fluids, tires, brakes), I’ve had to replace an O2 sensor and the radiator. TCO for my little Subie is bargain-fuckin-basement, without a doubt.
The C5 is pretty bulletproof and so is the Miata... it’s not like he bought a bunch of old German cars haha (I say that as somebody with several old German cars).
I am 46 and have a 2013 stage 3+ Subaru WRX STI in my garage. Was my daily for the first two years. Age has nothing to do with anything. I’m with you, buy what you like instead of worrying about what people think.
I’m much, much older and I love my base ‘14 WRX hatch. It’s like a tractor or a good dog.
I’m 30 and for the first time in my life I want a Subaru product. I think the WRX base would be a fun and functional daily driver. Stereotypes be damned I don’t care about that crap. It will fit nicely next to my NA Miata and C5Z.
Enjoy your Camry, or whatever ‘sensible’ car, while the rest of us get to work relaxed and on time on snow days.
Thirty seven year old owner here. Definitely not showing off on public roads anytime soon though. In most cases if you still own one after thirty the Rally Armor mudflaps and Hella horns come off in exchange for SCCA class spec parts.
I saw a couple of guys at my local autocross event in their late 50s with WRXs...
They legit like where they come from, which for a Michigander is a pretty rare thing. lol
I’d love to own a Careera.
They were just on Channel 955 this morning and I was like “Aww our Hometown heroes.” They met at a Red Wings game in LA, how adorbs.
I too think Kristen Bell seems super normal. She’s like your friend in high school that had severe anxiety and covers up for it by learning to be charming and that somehow crosses over into occasionally awkward oversharing (like every theater kid I was friends with). I get a similar vibe from Anne Hathaway and like…
Can’t have a Jalopnik comment section without the usual “but why not a Mustang?”, can we?
I’m always angered when I look at Dax Shepard, but then I realize I’m really angry at Dane Cook.
If we can’t have Roger Ebert anymore, I don’t want anyone. Rotten Tomatoes hasn’t ever failed me.
Great minds! I just posted below:
