Me: Sends email to car dealer
Dealer: No response
Me: Walks in to dealer. I’m interested in the car you have for x dollars on the website
Dealer: Oh, that’s the internet price
Me: Good news, I’m from the internet
Dealer: It’s really a completely bullshit price

She mentions the warranty, which would likely be expired.

Maybe she bought a 3rd party warranty, conflating it with insurance or gap coverage...

This reminds me of situations where folks buy a (usually used) car, then stop making payments when it needs some kind of repair and are amazed when it gets repossessed.

If you sign a long loan on a car that depreciates badly and you have iffy insurance or no gap insurance... this is the situation you end up in.

You’d have to be careful to not fill the passenger compartment with CO2. You’d die. This is the reason there’s a limit on dry ice on airplanes.

How will British cars leak oil then?

As someone who has had 3 cars rear ended at stop lights in the last 2 years, I can’t wait for more autonomous safety systems. Think level 1-3 is scary? Try other human beings.

I always wonder what happened when I see essentially brand new, pricey-ish cars that have significant, but fixable damage to that. Like, say a big ass dent, but one that’s clearly like 9 months old.

You are correct. Though Tesla could use a safer fuel source, like a large tank of gasoline, or some pressurized hydrogen. :)

aw snap. thanks for pointing that out. boy do I ever feel foolish. silly me and my lack of reading comprehension.

I believe you mean you “could care less” [/troll]

British folks (the ones who invented the language) also wait on line.

I don’t think I’d pay $7,890 for that.

The Eclipse (particularly Gen 2) was gorgeous. The FTO, like most European Mitsubishi vehicles, was like 90% spot on, and 10% highly awkward and cheesy.

On the plus side, no gas / diesel engines in a VW means no engine problems and no emissions problems.
