No kidding; I’ve used at least 5TB of data the past week alone. TB, not GB, so about 500-1000x what most US data plans offer per month. Wireless is about a million miles from competing with cable for heavy users.

this will only take off when carriers stop charging for metered data usage. It’s probably the biggest reason people will hold onto their existing cable or fiber lines.     ...unless you live in Alaska where even those internet connections are metered. URGH.
