I love my LG Optimus G, but I can't imagine having to deal with a 5.5" screen. 4.7" is getting a bit unruly, personally, and I can't imagine walking around with a phone only 1.5" smaller than my gf's Nexus 7.

I guess I am old-fashioned. I think that a child should have access to a FAMILY cellular phone when they go out (for emergencies), but if they want a personal cell phone they should buy and pay for it themselves. This means no personal cell phone before they are 16 unless that's what they want their allowance to go…
I figured an outlandish thing like this would be a Hammacher Schlemmer exclusive alongside the hot tub motorboat I saw.
I sure hope this works better than the Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems in cars today. Nothing like waking up to a cold morning and staring at the warning light until the tires heat up a little.
I'm pretty sure no babies get a say in what they are named.
In the 1950's these WERE the incredibly rich. Air transit has become more affordable for the masses and that's why the rich now just charter their own private jet.
Sorry, I consider hardware extremely important, it's just that if that hardware is crippled by inferior or the "wrong" software, the gadget is useless to me.
Planets in our solar system are named after Gods of Roman mythology, not Greek mythology, though there are Greek equivalents for each Roman God. Vulcan (Roman) is the god of fire and metal-craft. The Greek equivalent would be Hephaestus.
Of course, a $1,300 MacBook with the same specs is totally worth it? Yea ok.
I initially was angry that my new android phone had no MicroSD slot but with 32GB of internal storage it's really not an issue.
Any chance being able to run x86 applications will come to Android-based tablets like the Prime? It's essentially an ARMv7 processor. Anyone know if this hack already exists for the Prime (I haven't seen it in XDA)?
In what world is a 2688 x 1520 image dangerously small for what amounts to a cellphone camera? Yes, maybe if it was a dedicated digital camera I would care, but a camera phone? Nah.
Do we really need 486 ppi?
On a related note, has anyone seen that goatse picture? I hear it's the hottest internet "me me" around!
I agree, it's going to have to be amazing for me to be sold on it. Maybe it will be like the iPod and iPhone....they just execute the idea better than others. You'd think the whole iPod Nano watch craze would have taken off, so it's going to have to be much more than a Nano on a strap.
I can see where the iPod grabbed a market wanting mobile music, but watches have been on the decline for over a decade. Why would someone want to buy a watch that duplicates the functions of their phone?
Your juice per hour metric is really stupid and makes no quantitative sense.
Jesus or Sam. Of course.
Hey, stars don't even exist anymore. At least there is that.
That's not flying! That's falling.....with style!
