I've used the file renaming trick once or twice to buy me some extra time during finals in graduate school. The KEY is to not give them the actual completed paper until they email you back and say the file is corrupt. The only thing fishier than getting a screwed up file is getting the correct one without any

I know the thing that has helped me get more sleep and a better quality of sleep was to look at my daily routine and make some necessary changes that were in my best interest. Being a graduate student, I always have a ton to do and never enough time to do it, and I usually ended up starting my work at around 9pm and

I can understand not wanting the clutter and even integration between services like Google+ and basic search, but I don't understand the big uproar about Google favoring Google+ results on the search engine that Google owns and operates.

To be fair, you can easily buy Dublin Dr. Pepper off their website and via the phone. They also carry it on fountain machines here in Norman, OK. Dr. Pepper sucks for this, but the Dublin group did break their contract agreement.

Me either. I can't see 3G service on the Prime being cheaper than a hotspot option on your phone, it'd just be one less contract to worry about.

To me the integrated keyboard/battery/hub/card reader is what puts this and the older transformer above the other tablets. It actually makes this a device one can be productive on, such as taking class notes or editing powerpoints with the precision and speed of a mouse and keyboard (if needed). When it isn't needed,

To be honest, a little forethought and the whole no 3G/4G business can be worked around. You can tether just about any android phone via bluetooth or cable, use a hotspot, or just have the forethought to load the tablet up with what you need for the day. I don't see this tablet as a phone replacement so I can see

I never really stopped to think about this, but it makes good sense. On a different note, who else misses the floor switch between high and low beams?

Nice idea, although I'd definitely be sure to color match the sugru and the dish rack.

Works in Firefox (using 8.0)

It also makes the screen "fog up" and you can draw on it with your mouse!

I agree. I wouldn't keep every textbook, but if it was particularly interesting or useful for your future career, they are great references.

Ebay, Amazon, or see if you can get in touch with future iterations of that class to sell the textbook!

Aside from renting textbooks to avoid the financial investment all together, if you want to sell books do so through Amazon, ebay, or locally through craigslist/facebook. You will be able to hit a price point where you'll get more money than if you sold it to the bookstore, and the buyer will still get the book

I wouldn't recommend changing your own brake pads until you are more mechanically-savvy. Some makers, especially Ford, tend to need special tools and some brake systems use a tricky, finicky pin system that takes a careful hand or it is maddening. Additionally, older or more inexpensive cars also still have drum

Depending on your political/ideological point of view, you might view the rainbow as a symbol of evil and the tornado as a symbol of divine retribution.

But what cream is "the" cream? Sour cream (white)? Cream cheese(off-white)? Whipped cream (white)? Shaving cream (white)? Creamer for your coffee (white)?

You are missing the point. I'm not saying I can't see different colors, I am saying that if you put those two shades of red against one another I'd still say they were both red, just one redder than the other.

Haha, I hadn't even seen those sites before, but that is exactly what I am talking about. It's not that were color-blind, it's that colors like, coffee, mocha, espresso, etc all = brown to me.

It's a joke.
