It's so....beautiful.

I am a fan of GIMP but only have a single complaint: It takes forever for the program to start up! I don't mean a few seconds, I mean it can take up to 30-45 seconds for the program to fully load.
The problem is that statistically speaking, everyone is going to be part of the 99%. I really don't like the 99% vs 1% analogy, because it assumes that those in the 99% are desolate and poor (as well as the bum and loser vibe) when in fact a lot of upper-middle class people are 99% as well.
I agree, and I fail to see the relevance of it to a gadget website (I guess pepper spray is a gadget) but even so, the way it was written is meant to inflame people, as a lot of off-topic posts usually are. It'd be different if they conferred with experts on this stuff, but they grab a few facts from the internet…
While I don't agree with the spraying incident, breaking news that a police force uses military-strength spray isn't much news to me. I would expect any police force to use a spray that was more effective than the average consumer product. The fact that Marines use the stuff is irrelevant, as both units have similar…
I think the fact that the phrase "Occupy __________" is becoming a witticism indicates that it is dying.
Oh, my bad ;)
This makes me feel sad for my poor HTC Evo 4G.
Has Woz lost some weight? He looks slimmed up some!
But does it include the 7 additional headsets and charging bases?
The thing that pisses me off about people that use that is they don't (usually) have a program to do it for them, they are MANUALLY alternating between capital and non-capital letters by pressing the shift button dozens of times.
Wait, so Gizmodo declares QR codes to be dead but then puts out a guide for etiquette on AOL instant messenger?
The article makes a good point that the majority of labels that asked to be pulled from streaming services are those small, niche, or independent labels that have almost no market saturation on their own. But their move is a double-edged sword. Pulling labels that are not well known and artists that are maybe only…
I respectfully disagree. Ubuntu is more like the RC Cola or Surge of operating systems (I have nothing to back this up).
I ended up finding my way there after looking at comments on Laptop Magazine. It's interesting, but I may want to do more user-end stuff (it just works) instead of programmer-end stuff (learning how to make it work), which is what the Pi seems to be more geared toward.
That sounds pretty awesome, especially because it allows you to hook up to *anything*. Imagine being able to carry your actual computer with you in your pocket on the road, and being able to get to your files on any monitor.
Wow, what an awesome sculpture. I was particularly impressed in the detail and intricacies of the leaves and how they made them wave (plus I have a thing for exposed gears, they look so cool).
Please tell me how I can default on my student loans, because I was under the understanding that current law prohibits erasing student loan debt in the event of a default or bankruptcy.
That's my concern. Sure, you'll add deductions to this year's tax bill, but you are going to take a hit next year where those deductions would have been. I guess if you are in a tight money situation NOW it make sense, but over the long run either way you have to pay the man.
