I like how the group was encouraging the two guys to beat the hell out of each other, but when the cop tazed the guy they were suddenly outraged at the show of force.

Yes, I realize that they do not have their own search engine. Regardless, their biggest competitor in terms of services, apps, and alternative mobile devices provides essential services to iOS users. That is what I am trying to get at. And if Apple wanted to get into the search business, they easily could.
Well that's assuming they aren't all friends to begin with (board members belonging to both organizations and all). As I said to the other guy, it's a matter of framing. I am was pointing out that framing it as in Google being the #1 search engine for iOS users can be embarrassing for Apple.
I'm just showing how it's not embarrassing for Google at all, as they capture a lot of iOS traffic as opposed to Apple's own search options.
How is this embarrassing? Even in the "walled garden" Google still reaches iOS users via searches even over mobile Safari. You could turn this around and write the headline "iOS users make up 2/3s of Google's mobile-search traffic". How embarrassing (for Apple)!
Because some people like the small of toast? Why would someone want a bacon-scented air freshener?
Yea, I admit I drink bottled water at times when I want it as a convenience. Convenience is the key word here...at home I filter water into 3-gallon jugs and chill it in my fridge.
It's the fact that you are paying more than 2-3 cents per gallon for the SAME water that you get at home. I also go and grab a bottled water once in a while at the store, and its a method of convenience, but there is a large section of the population that refuses to even drink their water at home and subsists only off…
It's not that the meat doesn't taste good, it's that the fins go for $28 a pound and the meat itself goes for $2 a pound. They throw the rest back because it isn't even worth processing.
Wouldn't these be Automatic Water Machines (AWM)?
...aaaaaaaaand now you get the picture of how we've been trained to think that paying $1 for 500ml is a "good deal" for what you can get for pennies out of the faucet. Seriously, bottled water is the biggest scam ever (except for in times when it is actually needed).
It's really cool, but I wouldn't say it reconstructs what you see versus matches it as it says from YouTube clips (for instance, see :22-:24 where you see text on the right hand side, obviously from a different video). What it does it match it up your current brain waves with videos that elicit the same brain waves.…
I enjoyed looking at all of the Best Buy insert. We really bitch about the price of stuff, but it cost $350 for a 19" VCR/TV combo in 1996 and now we can get a 32" flatscreen HDTV for the same price.
Unless you really want to spend $50 on this machete, I'd go with one picked up at your local hardware store for less than half that price.
I don't really understand the logic behind Yahoo and such being mad when people GOOGLE a service like maps, mail, or whatever...and then the Google service comes up first. Does Yahoo! not put their services first on their own search results? If not, they deserve to be steamrolled by Google for being so stupid. That…
But you are also forgetting the strong Isolationist trends that were going on at that time. The US had no interest in other countries, be it helping them or invading them.
Take an icon, making it 4x as large, put some "streaming" information on it, and BAM, I just turned Windows 7 into Windows 8.
I really think that is all we can do without making China very angry. Unfortunately you have the other side that protests us doing that will lead to the death of millions from starvation (it will). But is it better to kill millions from withdrawing aid or kill millions from propping up the NK government?
You are 100% right about why we haven't invaded North Korea. If ever there was a modern example of pure evil in the world even half as comparable to the Nazis, it is North Korea.
"$75k is enough, for a single person. At leas here on Long Island. "
