Ah, see that is what I figured they were doing, using a life cycle cost instead of cost to date. That would put yearly cost for this program at around $20 billion per year.

I wouldn't be opposed to professors being able to carry a handgun, because they retain positions of authority in the school system and it seems natural to extend this to allow them to protect students that they are asked to teach. However, while I believe that even though CHL individuals are some of the most

Sometime in the past 100 years I believe. I've read historical texts that talk about how in colonial America people would gather around every Sunday for a good old-fashioned hanging or witch-burning like it was the weekend matinee. Seriously, people actually enjoyed watching the death of others, especially as a tool

The Civil War, at first, had spectators because it had been so long since America had been engaged in a major war (around one generation). You had people who had never seen an actual battle and had only read about battles in books.

Wait, Gizmodo just said yesterday that we could build 150 F-35's just for $22 Billion dollars. That makes each plane around 150 Million each. Even if only 50% of this 1 Trillion dollar price tag went into building the planes (and the other 50% went to operating them) that would mean the government has spent 500

I think the biggest scam on consumers today is this idea that large food manufacturers always = bad and the organic, local, free-range, etc companies are always good. Each side is invested in making you eat their products and so it should be logical to assume they would highlight the good qualities of their good and

Did you know that salt is made from mined mineral (halite) and then they add sodium and potassium iodide into it?

Or you can do what I do. I buy an item and when it breaks, I buy another item, pack the old item in the new packaging, and then return it to the store and say it broke within a few days of use and get a refund.

The banning of DDT for use in the USA and therefore overseas foreign aid programs to combat insect-born diseases (read: Malaria) has really taken a toll on 3rd-world country populations who care little about DDT-caused diseases and just want to live through the wet season.

Remember?! I still have mine! It works well for when you have a quick project with different-sized nuts and bolts. Also good for when you have a nut and bolt the same size to tighten.

I wanted to get some of these, but the no-locking feature was always a kicker for me. Also, from reviews I read that the sockets were all just a little larger than they should have been.

Man, his beer is getting all foamy!

The only negative experience I have had about Android not being as open as I would like it is in the Honeycomb release. They released it prematurely and as a result haven't released it entirely to people like xda to make good custom ROMs for some of the lesser well-known Nvidia Tegra 2 tablets.

It seems like my gf goes through makeup a lot. Must be my personal experience. Even so, it'd still be cheaper to buy washers instead of magnets, plus the board itself would be magnetic so it could hold any metal object like tweezers or eyelash curler.

Thank you!

Maybe you didn't understand in my posts that I said it cost $22 billion to maintain all the mechanical workings of the military. I'm saying that's a GOOD deal. I don't think we as civilians really consider how many machines, large and small, are involved in the workings of the military.

Compared to that, $22 billion to maintain all mechanical parts of the military seems like a steal.

Second picture: Academic conference Barbie!

For all the non-haters out here, here is his website to keep everyone updated on whether or not Google has given him an interview

That's like comparing an 18 wheeler with a trailer and an 18 wheeler without a trailer and saying the first one is bigger. All that open space is just cargo room.
