I actually just went outside to get my leased jeep and the dealer was out there peeing in my gas tank. He was like "dude it's in your lease agreement!"

I have had five lease agreements, and I have never seen those words in an agreement. Those words would never be in an agreement because they don't make any sense. Again, that's why the service bay didn't ask if the car was leased or financed. They don't care. They would have taken the car home either way. Their job is

yeah, and a leased house, like a leased car, doesn't mean that the lessor can just show up and be like hey man, i need to shit in your sink, brb. the lease agreement isn't going to say "if you bring your car in for service we can take it home for the weekend." that's why when you go into service they don't ask you if

Yeah, I've said a few times on this thread - talking about ownership rights, not title.

Agreed.

Correct, but I'm talking about ownership rights and not title. I agree with your second point entirely.

Yep- Nothing in a lease agreement says that the dealership can just take the car whenever they want. It's not any different than financing where the bank holds title to your car. It's still "your car" in either case.

Correct, they do own it - but you still have rights to the vehicle. the bank can't show up and be like "hey bro we're going to the lake for the weekend, need your truck, kbai." That's all I mean.

10,000% yes. It's a simple phone call. makes sense that not all problems can be replicated in the service bay.

ok! Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that's every state. Having the title and having rights to the vehicle aren't the same thing.

By taking my car home for the weekend without asking, yeah, it is. Especially after they realized their insurance wouldn't cover my car if something happened to it as employees aren't covered for driving the car home.

Hilariously, there was a service bulletin (which is a step below a recall) that said that the blower may go bad. They replaced it, it never happened again. But they didn't even think to check their service bulletins before I mentioned it. Yay Chrysler!

This actually happened to me with my previous Jeep. I dropped it off on a Friday with 1400 miles on it - the A/C had gone out completely (in July, actually when I was on my way to Florida. Neat.). I was hoping they would get to it before the day was out, but no dice. Ok, I'll call on Monday then. Monday comes around

That's entirely incorrect. Under the same logic, if you finance a car, it's not yours, it's the banks. The car is registered to him. In fact, even if it was a rental, you are wrong. You are paying for the undisrupted use of the vehicle. If the rental company just showed up and took you car without cause, they would be

"curbsideclassic.com" may need to re-think what vehicles get to use that domain.

Unfortunately, it gets even more complicated than that! After going through the process of turbocharging and supercharging this engine, Volvo decided to mate it to a plug-in hybrid drivetrain. So the new XC90 "T8" uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged supercharged plug-in hybrid 4-cylinder that makes an almost insane 400

I'm the driver for the in car shots but not the driver in the scene - I've been in too many videos so only my car got to star this time.

This is so awesome. When we were done with filming I was really hoping someone would notice.
