Nice! Great color. My dad had a 2001 740iL in green with the sport pacakge. I loved, LOVED, that car.

are the seats covered in plastic here?

I prefer real life cut-aways!

The laughter at :20 makes me die inside.

Yeah but the Tesla is a ground breaking technology. The volt is a hybrid, and not one of the best. So it sits on lots.

Ah, to be honest, I did not check that link at all. Googled poor volt sales and posted the first thing I found when a Forbes link wouldn't work. But the point is that volts don't sell all that well, so I'm not sure I understand why caddy thinks this $75k one will do anything but sit on the lot.

Exotic?! This isn't the P1 here. And how many buyers have expressed that seeing as how the Volt is having major problems selling?

Now playing

Works on two levels, A. the song is sad like this story is, and B. I read "that's our corvette in the sinkhole" to this tune:

"Sometimes I want to buy a Cimarron or Mustang II"

Huh. That sounds awesome and probably a lot less on taxes.

He should really consider screwing in his license plate.

Yeah I'm in Atlanta but my parents are in Marietta. Spent my fair share of time all around the state and have only seen this in the middle of nowhere southwest GA on my way to FL and some very backwoods places up in North GA.

Like the Volt — and probably more so here, considering the $75,000 price tag before the $7,500 tax credit — the ELR is never going to be a volume-seller. It's a premium electric car that's only going to appeal to a small segment of buyers, so it does make sense that some Cadillac dealers will decide it's not up their

Good read. I've found a lot depends on dealership ethos too. For example, I used to be able to go to a dealership, park my car, pick the car I wanted to show to a friend (I can't use customer here because like I told you, I'm the idiot who does this for free) and leave. I'm a big believer in having the car for a test

Yeah I've never seen it ITP. And very few in Marietta. Only out in the boondocks where I guess you feel you can have this without your car being keyed when you park it somewhere.

"that broad fabric quilt of culture that is the South"

It took me way too long to realize these two people aren't on the same horse.

I know $kay will be angry but seriously, hardest car ever to get in and out of.
