Lots of cars are stupidly designed in that way. A friend of mine borrowed his wife’s car for the weekend for a road trip. Some kind of generic Ford/Chevy sedan. We ran into a guy who needed a jump, so we popped the hood and... no battery. Terminals to let you jump start the car, but no way to jump someone else’s.

Quite wonderfully, actually. I got lost in the woods last week, and after setting up camp, I watched some Netflix on the big, beautiful screen, and then tossed it into a pile of dry wood to make a campfire. It’s a very versatile device.

Yes, the Lightning port will be located squarely in the middle of the undercarriage, for aesthetic reasons. And of course the battery will be sealed and non-replaceable.

if the next top mclaren is all electric like they say, will you charge it via lightning port? ( thats located in a useless place like the bottom of their mouse? )

It will have all the cameras, including dual selfie cameras built into the visor for some reason, but only 16GB of non-expandable storage.

My Zune doesn’t have AirPlay.

No. No, no, no, no no. Apple can’t just buy Toyota. Toyota is worth over 230 billion, and it would certainly sell for way more than that.

You cant open the hoods on many hyper cars already. Even an Alfa Romeo has a hood that can’t be opened.

That’s ridiculous! How are you supposed to jump-start the thing if your battery dies? I guess you’d just have to try push-starting it and hope for the best.

Plus, the McLaren sat nav run on Android.

Just want to point out that you already can’t open the engine cover on a McLaren without special tools.

It will also have 300hp less than any other car, but drivers will be convinced it “feels just as fast”...

You have tens of billions of dollars in profits made in foreign countries by your foreign subsidiaries that already pay foreign taxes.

Maybe their build quality is due to their low volume... Which this expertise in building complex low volume cars would be necessary to build a reputation for self-driving Apple cars. Makes sense in that manner, but for high volume not as much IMO.

The new Apple Car will be faster, lighter, and better looking than other cars, but you won’t be able to open the hood, the stereo won’t have an Aux. input, and the transmission won’t have a reverse gear. Also, the car will bend if you hit a bump too hard, will emit strange hissing noises when driven hard, and will

Maybe now they’ll bring back the Performa name.

Now we just need Samsung to buy Ferrari and we’re set...

Opticom is one brand name for the infrared detectors.

One time I was waiting at a red light and a car approaching the light behind me was flashing the highbeams like crazy and then pulled up next to me. I asked the old lady if she was trying to get my attention and she said that flashing the highbeams changes the lights green “thats how fire trucks do it”. We sat there
