I saw this tweet.
Why is the police officer’s approach edited out of the video? At 0:45 - 0:50, watch how he comes out his car, then fades out and then reappears next to the door.
My uncle was murdered driving a taxi. Fucking dangerous job. I hope this guy gets everything coming to him.
Those 4K cameras are scary clear. The still captures are terrifying in their ability to literally stop reality for examination. It’s like the intense clarity of your subconscious mind under hypnosis versus what you can actually recall when asked
Really hoping this hope for sarcasm is sarcasm. The original was quite obviously sarcasm.
Really hoping this is sarcasm
Before all these cameras in public, the police never misbehaved. The cameras incite them to act aggressively and should be banned.
Encouraging road rage is safer than a lane change?
Nope.
when the first pedestrian is killed, the project will end
Seriously?
Seriously? If you look the guy who was sitting in the front seat gets out and lightly grabs the door in a “kicking the tires” sort of way. This stops the door (because it sensed the interference) in a low position. Kruger Doesn’t realize this and runs straight into the door that’s stuck halfway up.
You understand that 600,000 cars were spewing 40 times the legal limit of pollutants for 10 years, right? That doesn’t just magically go away with some bullshit pissant fine. Our kids are still breathing that shit in.
They haven’t been punished enough. You go cheat on your taxes and see how quickly they fine you massively or throw you in jail. VW got off fucking LIGHT.
8 years (and counting) of throwing deadly, noxious gas into the atmosphere and you think it’s just cool now that they paid a fine? Uh, no. They’re almost as bad as climate science deniers with their wanton disregard for the environment. They made this bed, and they should lay in it. I could give a fuck if they’re…
The fact that they’ve been dragging their feet for some time now on fixing USDM cars.
Well, they haven’t actually fixed anything yet, and right now all the execs are still playing the “deny everything” game as far as taking responsibility for the fraud. So yeah, I’d say there is still plenty to protest.
Perfection. The VW mechanic’s uniform, the cardboard labeled cheat box and the commentary “Mr. Müller says it’s okay as long as no one finds out.”
It might well be the special key that the Veyron had that was down by the door sill, for switching it into that mode that let it do the full 254 mph. I presume the front, leather covered, key is the one for the actual day-to-day use of the car, it doesn’t look like a switchblade one. I’m guessing that it has keyless…
