Why turn it off, when you can just select “Get updates from Microsft, and get updates from and send updates to PCs on my local network” eliminating sending them out to the internet, and saving bandwidth by doing one download for the whole house?
I’ve been playing for a lot of years...never noticed this problem.
Yep, remember sleep debt from crew resource management classes. I know I can definitely hit an ‘overslept’ point, and a deprived ‘crash point’, so there’s something there. But it varies for everyone. I got chronically sleep deprived (less than 4 hours a night) for 3 months, and then crashed for 72 hours, I didn’t…
I worked mids and swings for 15 years...my body literally thought sunlight was the indicator to sleep. Weekends were rough because of church and the like and real family time, so flipping to dayshift from Friday to sunday, then sleeping all sunday afternoon to go back to work at midnight...very zombifying. But…
I do this. The only bills I can’t pay on my card are my mortgage(bank auto-draft), electric(6 dollar service charge on a 45 dollar bill), and natural gas(same thing, 6 dollar charge). So I just take advantage of the free bill pay on my checking account.
Ugh, and Alaska gets the shaft on all these benefits...except anything digital. We don’t get 2 day shipping(we do, but they sit on the order for 4-5 days before it ships), and can’t use Pantry. But if it’s digital, it’s all good. Anything physical, they give us the finger...even though we probably buy MORE stuff from…
Vinegar does amazing things. It’s my heartburn cure, helps with inflammation headaches, and cleans the crap out of stuff, and the tastiest way to get it...pickle juice :)
Because I work at a smaller ISP that doesn’t engage in these practices, and this test still tries to make it look like we do. But who am I but an anonymous guy on the internet speaking out against the generalized mob victim mentality? I’m sure some of you guys do have crappy ISPs that are doing this crap, and the test…
Heck, I’d be happy if I got free 2 day service...I’m in Alaska. They sit on my order for 5 days, then ship it 2-day.
I also get outside of our network downloads at 250mbps most of the time if the site supports that kind of bandwidth. 31MBps dowloads are pretty damn cool, especially when you remember taking an hour to get one MP3 over dialup back in the late 90s.
We don’t, I work for them.
Because I work for them, and am an admin in their core and cable modem networks.
That’s what I was thinking too, if you’re not attracted to BBW, you’re not attracted, and if you’re looking for something long term, it’s going to eventually turn into a deal breaker, and waste both your times. That said, the BBW girls tend to like my profile more than most and message me more than most. They do try…
Scary how close that was. Sadly, by adding my higher paying more technical current job...the value went down.
So finally got a test to finish...It finally used peers my ISP was connected to, and couldn’t break 35Mbps on ANY of them....yet I can speedtest to those peers, and get 250Mbps. Something isn’t kosher about this test.
I’m definitely not for a ‘testing’ site when the front page of the site shows it’s agenda and bias.
So it says I’m in Seattle, and I’m 1400 miles from there...I can Ookla test to many sites in the Lower 48 and get my advertised 250/10 Mbps speeds(on a cable modem). This test reports 35Mbps/5Mbps to some of the same peers. It’s almost like this test picks the worst hops to go through, or doesn’t have the actual…
I’d recommend the Stronglifts 5x5 workout. It’s not so brutal that you can’t do other things, but it WILL boost your metabolism through the roof, and you’ll make some muscle mass gains as well.
