Well, what can I say, those guys make their "political" point by meddling so much into people's lives they can't even take a dump without paying taxes, which go straight to their own pockets "for the good of the people".

Being a raging hypocrite works even better when you combine that socialist angst with the ability to take as much public money as you please without being bothered by anyone because you're "doing it for the people", amirite?

Too bad this is shaping up to be a tie up to Michael Bay's ridiculous upcoming TMNT movie. It's the only flaw on what has basically the same amount of cool as Raptor Jesus.

The Brazilian Air Force doesn't keep ridiculous, broken down cars for humor, they have their ridiculous, broken down planes for that...

:/ welcome to the club I guess... down here you can retire at 70 if you're a man and 65 if you're a woman. Unless you work in some sort of private practice, as a doctor or lawyer of something like that, in that case you can expect to work well into your 70's.

People retire at 55 in North America? Holy shit

The Rover James obviously. By the time you get to push all of the kids out the house and retire from your job, you probably won't be in shape to drive much more than this...

While I can't say for sure what's what, I'm inclined to believe Russia has a hand or two or three in all of this. All of these separatist rebellions in former soviet states that just happen to be good for Russia all happening at the same time... yeah that's probably just a big coincidence...

Let me sing them the song of my people: Cahem... #nãovaitercopa!

To be fair, crushing Vettel doesn't seem too difficult these days... let's kick him while he's down!

Damn... why do they even bother? I mean, it's not like I can legally watch Top Gear in Brazil in the first place, and I know most of the folks who resorted to Final Gear can't either. The only way BBC would gain any business from us foreign folks by doing this is if we moved to the UK.

Agreed, the music on Top Gear is top notch. Back when I only watched clips on Youtube I didn't really pay a lot of attention to it, but watching full episodes really makes it jump out at you.

Exactly! It's too bad Matchbox fell on Mattel's hands because they'll never let the brand focus on that kind of stuff and steal the spotlight from Hot Wheels... They've been doing that for years now, letting Matchbox wither as a secondary "play focused" brand, while Hot Wheels gets all the good licenses and designers.

Yup, for a time there in that period, Matchbox was all but playing catch with Hot Wheels. First they put out the Superfast wheels, then candy color paintjobs to counteract Hot Wheels' spectraflame finishes. When Hot Wheels came out with the Spoilers, Matchbox modified several of their cars with big engines and zoomy

This makes it even more sad to see what Mattel is doing with Matchbox these days...

Only after they introduced the Superfast wheels. Their regular wheels line, which was eventually phased out, had a much thicker axle that didn't roll as well as the thin piano wire axles and Delrin bushings used in the original redline wheels. Or so I'm told :p

Yeah, Hot Wheels' main selling point a while ago was that cars still sold for under a dollar een after 40 years. When you factor inflation in, cars these days sell for much, much less money than they did in 1968.

Basically, this:

And yet, Hot Wheels cars of today still aren't as good as they, or even Matchbox cars were a few decades back. Personally, I prefer Matchbox, their models are far more accurate to their Hot Wheels counterparts, but there are so few actual licensed cars in their lineup nowadays I don't even bother anymore. Last time I

Actually, Matchbox models tend to be more accurate proportion-wise than Hot Wheels, but they vary a lot more scale-wise, in order to fit the packaging. The only companies that make small cars to a measured scale nowadays are higher end brands, like Greenlight, Auto World, Kyosho, Minichamps, TLV and such.
