I don’t ask for much, universe, but please: Keep Cavill away from NFTs.

...the third one starred Carrie Coon and Ewan McGregor

I also believe season 4 was a giant pile of shit!

I’ll watch it but S4 was a hot mess. The show had way too many characters and simply couldn’t do justice to all of them but tried to. So the writing felt all over the place and many of the late-season stuff just didn’t land well for me.

It’s a paracausal entity. When it moves the fabric of reality is bent to prevent it from being observed.

I never really thought of it as a function of vision but rather focused attention. I think, because that’s incredibly difficult to communicate on TV, it gets reduced down to “don’t blink”.

“Commenter aims, but misses.”

This is neither shameless nor shoehorned. The game was quoted as the direct reason the family realized something was wrong. Settle down.

The movies were good except for Bender’s Game! The Comedy Central run was a mixed bag but it ended wonderfully, and I thought that was a perfect time to stop. The cracks were showing, but it could still go out on a relatively high note. From what I’ve seen, the general sentiment is nervousness. Especially

In the time of Mr. Show, David definitely had the more striking, memorable characters. But David aged into a crotchety asshole, while Bob became a paternal, if surreal, prestige actor.

Meh, who cares about that? Since Deadspin doesn’t allow comments, let’s use this section to laugh at CBS’ halftime show disaster, which lead right into the Halo trailer.

Anyone else feeling very meh about this trailer? I liked the teaser that premiered a month or so ago better.

Haha, was just about post the same. Should be an entertaining installment. Maybe he can sport the fedora for some extra cringe(not that I have anything against fedoras, but c’mon dude, you’re indoors for this podcast).

Looking forward to the next Play Watch Listen for Troy’s take on this thing in general and this article in particular.

Methinks thou dost protest too much.

I don’t really get the first point - he didn’t force her to audition, if anything it seems pretty clear from the anecdote that he didn’t want her to. She wanted to so she paid her own way to do so. She could have easily said “fuck this guy, I’m not paying for my own ticket for a job interview.”
