They still do them. This is a new addition that they started a couple months or so ago.

I really liked I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore and actually think I enjoyed Come to Daddy less as a result. They aren’t really going for the same thing, I think, but there are enough similar elements that I couldn’t help but compare the two. Come to Daddy’s back half felt a little all over the place.
I dunno, the combat looks pretty similar to other “Souls-like” games from the last couple years, and specifically similar to Jedi Fallen Order to me. It’s definitely different from Dark Souls III, but that’s a four and a half year old game.
It’s pretty obvious that the inspiration comes directly from that franchise, though.
You apparently care enough to be a dick about it. Maybe you should ask yourself why other people expressing their opinion on the internet chafes your ass so much.
This game resonated with me far more than I expected it to. It has so many rough spots and much room for improvement when I'm being critical, but darnit, it was splendid in all the right ways.
You seem to have egregiously missed the point, and you’re being kind of a jerk about it.
Wait, you think racism in post Civil War America was something you could not be aware of?
Being a white guy who grew up in 1860s America, Arthur doesn’t need to ask Charles about why he feels this way. He knows that the South discriminates against Black people.
Both things suck
It’s nothing but skin deep. The beginning of the game alone completely contradicts Kurosawa’s ethos
I work in TV, and one of the open secrets is that “Ellen” is a terrible show to work for, both in pay and in how the show - and Ellen herself - treats the workers. There’s a website called Staff Me Up that handles a lot of freelance hires for the industry. About every other month pre-COVID you would see an ad for…
Not a knock on you, Zack, but if a game came out today with that kind of busy style they would get destroyed in the reviews for looking outdated including here on kotaku, maybe even by you, after you posted this article.
It was a very valid question. If you knew anything about AAA development you’d know the changes made in the last months of dev are usually downgrades in quality to optimize performance. There is no way they will rework all the textures and redo geometry on such a big scale.
5 months to go and they are not updating graphics or gameplay. They are crunching for launch. Calm your tits, our dislike isn’t going to make the game worse for you.
Woah, chill you little twerp.
Name a single time this has been the case
Disclaimer: Bloodborne is my favorite game of all time.
I have heard it argued that forcing you to eventually go back and farm for vials and bullets is not only intended, but necessary because if you’re so stuck you’re exhausting your entire supply, it’s a built in “take a break” mechanic, while also possibly…
Every sane non-racist person calls out Trump and his followers incessantly. In the same way that we talk about Black Lives Matter and people come in with that “what about black on black crime” bullshit we can’t engage in the same whataboutism when people in our community mess up. Particularly when we’re trying to push…
I feel like this argument is a deflection. Everything in it is correct- however, Viacom didn’t (or at lease didn’t say) they fired him because of the anti-white shit. It was because of the antisemitism. And that isn’t just words, that’s stuff that actively hurts and provokes violence against Jewish people.
