Being the first FF game in 3D and the first one to be released for the console it was on sure helped. Going around 8, I think if you swapped 7 and 9, everyone would be nostalgic about 9 and Zidane would be what Cloud is today. Zidane would be in Smash and FF9 (now FF7) would be the one getting the episodic remake.

I’d say if you want to just play through the main story go with XY, but if you want to play around post-game and build some teams go with ORAS.

PVZ:GW2 is $80? I thought that was just for the deluxe edition.

Titanfall is still enjoyable, people just had their expectations WAY to high before the game came out. My favorite mode is Last Titan Standing or whatever it’s called, haven’t played in awhile. You going to try out the PVZ: Garden Warfare 2 beta this weekend?

The soundtrack is amazing, OST of the year for me. I was surprised to see mixed thoughts about it when I went online! Of course, I’m also a big fan of the Attack on Titan soundtrack.

This would be a cool option just for taking in the environment. For combat, looting and whatnot, the normal views are the best, but when gazing upon the world this would be nice.

When I watched the new trailer I felt disappointment in the character designs. Cloud is suppose to be cool, and this new model is not.

It’s a game I want to like more than I do. There is a lot they do right and a lot they do wrong. Combat is a chore.

It’s getting a solid 85 on metacritic right now, seems pretty good to me. You also can’t have a serious discussion about the greatest JRPG of all time without mentioning Xenoblade. To say this game will be forgotten is laughable.

Bogus face-mask penalty. These need to be looked at. It changed the outcome of the game, it literally does not get any bigger than that.

So is Xenoblade Chronicles X the first GOTY contender for next year? Or are all games released from Nov. 24th-Dec.31st forever ineligible for this particular award?
