The Elite Xbox controller may be pricey, but it’s not so bad when you think about it. It comes with all the pieces to swap around and can be used on both the One and PC. I figure if you’re going to be spending a lot of time with a controller in your hands, $150 for such an important video game accessory is worth it,

He said ‘first’. So Final Fantasy 7 remake for Xbox One?

I believed his excitement. Then Peggle 2 sucked.

Early VR games could end up being fairly simple and easy having a greater focus on immersion and what is seen and experienced by the player. It’s understandable, especially for many people new to VR. At such an early stage, games developed for VR could be more about ‘being there’ than actually playing.

With new and better revisions of the headsets, the 2nd hand market for these could be decent too. Many people won’t mind using an older model as they mostly just want the access.

Post-Jobs Apple losing innovation and becoming an imitator sounds about right.

If he doesn’t know Japanese, of course the story isn’t going to feel as natural. Native text is so much more absorbing.

Read about this game from more sources than just here. The writers Kotaku has in charge of Xenoblade are not fans of the series. Whenever they have to write about the series they downplay it and gripe. Is it because of some allegiance to Final Fantasy?

I have noticed Kotaku has had a negative tone about this game from the beginning. Does the bias come from SquareEnix fanboyism or because it’s a Wii U exclusive? Still, 70 hours is impressive for a game you find ‘boring’. A lot more time than I was able to get through FF13 without dropping it.

I can’t play the original 6 on anything but a Nintendo controller. Nintendo’s d-pad is second to none. It’s a shame this isn’t on the Wii U where I could play with a sideways wiimote , a phenomenal option for NES games. 3DS will be fine though. I hope we see some use of 3D like with the 3D Classic games.

If you need to do a lot of typing, its probably not best done on a couch and if you need a little bit of typing with a controller you can just use voice recognition. A touchscreen controller like the Wii U gamepad seems like the best option. You wouldn’t take up the TV screen with the keyboard and you could use touch,

This is the problem with Buu/Cell saga. It was suppose to end with 1 super saiyan destroying the powerful Frieza, a race Frieza thought he had destroyed and coming back to end his domination. The show kept going, and now this super saiyan ability is being used by kids, and nearly all the saiyan are related cause there

I don’t play mobas but I know people that do. Most of them think HotS is better than LoL, and a good chunk of them either made the switch or split time. Some still play LoL exclusively because they don’t want to learn a new game as they are so deep into it. I plan on playing HotS eventually, even though games like

DS is tough because of a bulk of games needing the touchpad. They just started but I think the Wii U has done an excellent job with DS virtual console, which is harder to properly emulate. The Wii U/New 3DS are the 2 best ways to play DS games, above and beyond other options. Would have been cool to see a DS slot on

I thought this could be nifty before quickly realizing how stupid and ugly it is.

I really like the design of the Wii U. It’s also really easy to pack when taking it places. The GamePad is different, it needs to be refined.

I only want the 3DS to be region free to play DS/3DS games that were Japan only, and there is only a few I’m interested in. I can wait for an English release no problem. They must be worried about the people who would buy out of region for nearly their entire physical collection. It’s still stupid to think I could

That actually sounds like a good idea. Sell a region unlocker, in general or per game. No, it’s not as good as just having them all be unlocked for free and could feel like they are gouging, but maybe it could cover the reason they don’t have it and at least exist.

Capcom would have to be heartless, soulless, and in my opinion brainless to sue Inafune over this.

Nintendo and Capcom should make a deal like they did with Sonic and agree to get a couple Mega Man titles made, Nintendo only of course. The Nintendo fanbase generally sees Mega Man more than other console followers, namely with his inclusion in Smash/Amiibo and the strong Virtual Console support. Hopefully the Mega
