I followed this game up til release, so I know all of the characters til then, but I have been shielding myself from any information now that the game is released somewhere. I am kind of surprised how easy it has been. I expected some news site to list the entire roster of playable characters. Now I'm slightly worried…

Very awesome, but are you only allowed to play other DC users or is there a server that allows you to play with PC users as well? If it's just DC I'd imagine the games would be pretty empty.

If this game DOES stay relevant for years to come "as they are hoping for" it means there is a massive dryspell of games ahead. With the games coming out this holiday season and Destiny coming out so early, I see many gamers already playing other games before the years end.

This is REALLY encouraging news for Smash Bro's DLC Characters/Stages/Costumes. DLC like this bumps the game back into the news and gets people talking about it again. Smash can dangle DLC characters to keep the character hype alive and bustling even AFTER the game is released.

Pokemon Snap with the Gamepad and Miiverse just makes too much sense.

Nah, making Mario the base game's theme then releasing other Nintendo characters as DLC is a much smarter and profitable move.

Why? WoW continues the story of Warcraft in real-time and StarCraft holds the competitive scene in RTS pretty firmly. Nothing is broken here, franchises and genres are moving forward.
