She’s worse now. After the third movie, she insists that everyone calls her “Lana Del Rey Skywalker”, which makes no sense on any level.

This loss hits me closer to the heart.

Boy uh, I should really get going on that Pokemon Sword I bought on launch day and still haven’t reached the first gym. On the plus side, these expansion passes at least give me an excuse to drag my feet a little more. I remember the Breath of the Wild expansion coming out months after I beat it and it was hard going

My trusty old laptop was dying, so back on Boxing Day I dropped a bunch of money on a brand new one. The first thing I’ve done with it is finally try a game which my old rig couldn’t quite handle. So far I’m finding Deus Ex: Human Revolution to be utterly charming. I like it when game mechanics are written into the

Still playing through Jedi: Fallen Order. Sometimes it gets too hard for me (I suck at anything remotely Souls-y) and I have to put it down for a second, but I’m enjoying the game so much that even if I close it I find myself being like “well...one more shot...” and booting it right back up.

I started playing Pokemon Sword this week and it definitely feels a little barebones. It definitely moves faster than Sun did which is a big reason why I didn’t finish it. This one seems like it can be breezed through which is what I want since I have too many games to get through.

After a longish break over the holiday period, influenced heavily by my laptop getting knocked off a table, resulting in my external drive getting trapped between the screen and keyboard, breaking both the screen and unseating the 1TB external HDD, I’m back to gaming.

“Duke” is a strange way to spell “Dallas Cowboys”

Backlogged: Last Minute Edition

Might I add that there’s a lot to like about the Clone Wars and Rebels series. The lightsaber fights between Sidious and Maul (and his brother), Vader and Ahsoka, and Obiwan and Maul are truly excellent. And Rebels has Tom frickin’ Baker!

Jumped into Jedi: Fallen Order. So far I’m liking it quite a bit, it’s on the tougher side for me but the feel is very good- it controls very smoothly and the world has plenty of cool stuff in it. (Well, worlds.) Of course for gameplay purposes they have to make it so your lightsaber can’t slash through *everything*

Salutations~!

I sure wish it didn’t cost $90 dollars to hopefully get the same amount of content that existed in DS and 3DS era for $40, though. I’m not even talking sequel games like Platinum and Ultra Sun/Moon, I’m talking base games.

I don’t want to agree with the worst people on earth, but it feels like they didn’t make Sw/Sh as good as they could make it, so they could charge more money later.

On the topic of the German Titans, I met a group of British Patriots fans at a game once and I found it hilariously ironic.

<Looks back at Clone Wars and Rebels TV series>

After feeling a little pummeled by RoS’ aggressive pacing, having an extended scene in the Mandalorian where two insouciant scout troopers just slouch and fuck around for an extended scene was a balm.

Since I’m slowly going through my backlog and also grabbing as many free games as possible (Epic Games Store has really helped there), I’ve only played one (1) game released in 2019 - Untitled Goose Game. That makes it my favorite game of 2019 both by default and because it’s an absolute freaking blast too play.

Now playing

Had a blast both times I saw Star Wars, and I don’t give a shit what you think about that. I didn’t realize I’d be watching it twice over the course of about 12 hours, though. A month or so ago when I bought tickets, I knew I wanted to see it at least twice opening weekend, so I bought for Thursday night, and then

Saw it last night. A few thoughts:
