Why does anybody give a shit about Netflix implementing this? It's an OPTION. There's a bunch of other fucking settings nobody ever uses on most applications.
It’s the time of the year for people to ignore context and dump on a sweet song again, woot!
Stupid assholes always think they’re funny with the Candlejack bit unt
Clearly that was the original intent in ESB which has been ignored by supplemental product (as others have mentioned.)
Sorry, no L.
100% this!
It’s a lot easier to entertain kids with stupid jokes in the campaign too. Not everywhere but the right funny voice at the right time can crack the whole table up good:)
I currently run a group that includes 2 13 year olds and we started when they were 11, so I’m ok with that age, it’s the younger ones and their attention span that I’m more worried about. It’s super fun to see kiddies enjoying it so much though, way different from when I was a kid and we had to figure this stuff out…
OK, so I am about 1 hour into my Pontiac Bandit run of Outer Worlds, and it’s a charmingly and somewhat darkly humorous mashup of Fallout and Mass Effect: Andromeda so far. Loving the voice acting. For example: I’ve met Parvati, the engineer who is clearly suffering under the yoke of corporate employment in Edgewater…
The middle ground/negotiator ideal path trope in Obsidian RPGs is indeed a well worn path by now, which is why I think that Fallout New Vegas is one of their best modern achievements- every faction is flawed (some more than others of course) and blowing them all off or up is a viable option. I’m holding off on getting…
I did buy Outer Worlds but I’d like to get some more Anthem time in if my buddy is around to play, gotta watch BoJack and Dolomite and then DM the first session of Lost Mines for a friend and his three kids. The kids range in age from 8-11 so wish me luck on that!
I mean, you can’t take one review as the be-all and end-all. Heck, I even enjoyed Mass Effect: Andromeda pretty well, despite everyone saying it was awful. Not that there weren’t significant flaws, but, I dunno. For me it’s pretty easy to enjoy a game as much as I choose to, as long as it “clicks” on some basic level,…
Definitely going to dig into The Outer Worlds this weekend. I also have a contractual obligation to play Call of Duty with my “#squad” since that's really the only game my friends all play together. I played a bit of the new Modern Warfare campaign last night and it's pretty refreshing.
From the very first lengthy trailer for The Outer Worlds, I suspected exactly this: they’re doing stuff that’s been done to death already. “What if the pre-nukes Fallout world had managed to make it into space?” was the whole thing. Right there. Not even trying to hide it or augment it or anything. No competing…
THEY FIT THE FOLES EDIT IN HELLLL FUCKIN YEAH

Performative wokeness is an acceptable substitute for virtue and moral courage in today’s society.
This is so ridiculous. Everybody knows these jokes refer to the very real fact that high calorie/high sugar foods are a major cause of obesity, which in turn is a major risk factor for Type 2 diabetes. I’m willing to bet most people with T1, which is genetic disease they had no control over, understand that these…
