Oh man, Rome will be so confusing. They’ve split up the bodies of saints all over!

The Vatican didn’t commission this video game, just FYI. Though if they did, it would still be just as cringy.

And on that note, thanks video games, for providing an escape from such a horrifying future!

Interesting! I’d be curious to see about a Pro Rocket League player face Watson. But couldn’t this be said about almost any video game? We are playing on a computer’s home turf, after all. I guess you could argue strategic games akin to chess would be possibly for humans to beat computers in.

If I were to guess one game that could be a ‘sport’, I would nominate Rocket League. Which is kind of cheating since it’s based on a sport, but the nuance required to control your car and pull off various stunts makes it the most ‘sportslike’ to me - there’s no real cap to your experience, as you just keep getting

Based on what you said, Dino Frontier makes me think a Black & White reboot would work pretty well in VR. Having played VR once on the boardwalk while I was on vacation, it was a ton of fun and I’d love to grab one...someday. It’s this weird position to be in - I want to get it but there’s not enough content, but

Ah, I don’t believe I mentioned it this week, but I played Hearts of Stone before I beat the game! I left Blood & Wine as an epilogue to Geralt’s story. It was a great expansion and really added a lot of interesting quests to the game.

My other post details most of what I loved about Witcher without spoilers! It’s definitely a huge undertaking but it feels good to no longer have in my backlog. The writing is superb, the gameplay is pretty great, and the graphics are beautiful. When you get around to it let me know! I have a feeling I’ll be able to

I finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Man, what a doozy of a game. I don’t think the game was overhyped at all. After spending 120 hours in the game, I’ll take a short break so I can process that feeling of finality you get after beating a game with a satisfying plot. But once that feeling is processed, I’ll be jumping

This weekend I will be playing Sea of Thieves and Destiny 2 - that’s right, it’s a Forsaken Shores / Forsaken weekend. I will be taking a short break from The Witcher 3, as I beat it last night! A spoiler discussion will be going under the “what games you have you finished this week”, so go there for my thoughts on

I understand that for the purpose of reviewing it would be unwise to include subcategories or we’d be here all day, but Chewy Chips Ahoy beats original Chips Ahoy every time.

Watching American Vandal really changes how you react to this trailer. I shouldn’t be smiling to myself, but they nailed satirizing true crime documentaries so well I can’t help but think of the Turd Burglar.

Warm cookies work great with milk. You gotta do it right so you don’t get crumbs in there, but it’s not the end of the world if one or two sneak in.

Reading and musical theory will definitely come back with time, and probably faster than you expect. I stopped playing clarinet when I was 18, then picked it up again when I was 22 for an extra college credit, and with enough practice and challenges I got better at reading and playing than I was in High School. I even

It really was the best way to include a riddle in an adventure video game, where vocal riddles are hard to “answer” with the given mechanics. They did a really good job adapting that and using the tools they had on hand. As for Ciri hints, I think I did do something with Vesemir’s grave! So that’s good news. I skipped

I would love to learn the violin, it’s a beautiful instrument. I feel at this point I’ve developed a pattern of picking up and putting down instruments though. The only instruments that have stuck are clarinet and drums, and those had the benefit of being practiced 3 times a week at marching band. A list of other

Hello all! This week I continued my playthrough of The Witcher 3, finishing the Hearts of Stone DLC. It was a well-crafted story with some quality quests, and personally the best boss fight in the game so far. Red Dead is looming, so i’ll have to hurry up on this...(Spoilers will end at the end of this paragraph. If

The World Ends With You: The Final Remix comes out on October 12 and apparently only allows touch controls while in handheld mode. According to the game’s Nintendo webpage, the game offers Joy-Con controls or touch controls, but seemingly not a combination of the two

I think your point could still stand, it could swing either way! And the developers are definitely flexing on us. They made this game hard, but to me it seems like they always made it at the threshold of your skill level (at least for the main game. The B-sides are something else). That way, every level is the hardest

I felt a great disturbance in the force...as if hundreds of fluffy animals suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.
