He didn’t “cure” blind people
Seriously. Unless it’s a FROMSoft game, I’ve gone full-blown patient gamer. You usually only have to wait a few months for a game to be at $50 or lower.
Sounds fun enough, but $70 at launch fun? Nah, this looks like a decent deep-sale coop game.
Say what you will about the Shadow of Mordor games - and there are a lot of problems with them - but the first time you’re sneaking around somewhere and suddenly the camera smash-cuts to a scarred up orc covered with spikes calling you out like Hulk Hogan while his goons pour past him, it’s a hell of a moment. It…
well, considering that the HP books are the kind of trashy liberal fantasy where maintaining the status quo is the absolute goal (up to making the main protagonist a literal cop), this is just brand consistency.
You had me there in the first half.
I will honestly always admire any person who takes the time to clean something up when they have no incentive to. Which mostly applies here (outside of a statistically trivial few who would do it to virtue signal).
I’ve never heard of this guy before, just like I’ve rarely heard of any of the other YouTube or Twitch personalities you routinely post about outside of this website.
lol you guys are a cult
So, in other words, the right hand didn’t talk to the left hand. Part of the development team was building a ‘shooter on rails’ experience while another part of the team was building an open-world exporatorium. And NEITHER team communicated enough to identify an obvious incompatibility with those two approaches.
So after all that hype it’s.... a generic third-person shooter game? Even King Shark doesn’t get to melee?
“Nail that weak spot squad!”
I can already tell this will continue the trend of unending repetitive tutorializing that keeps popping up in open world video games. These games are not about fun or exploration anymore, they are about obsessive box ticking and completion. Spider-Man and Hogwarts legacy both have this…
It’s kinda confusing that they’re going in this direction; why would fans of the previous Arkham games be looking for a multiplayer looter shooter as the long-awaited follow-up?
Nope. Fucking pass.
Say what you will about the other aspects of the game, but I do not need another game made by Rocksteady that has large sections based around battling tanks.
Good.
I have deep misgivings about the realism of the fungus people, too!
Considering libel law in the UK is basically just to protect the royalty, nobility, and rich from criticism (and seriously punish the critic(s)), it is, unfortunately, working as intended.
Yeah, because strangely truth isn't an outright defense against libel on that stupid island
