I didn’t say whether I agreed with the statement or not, nor am I concerned with whether Erik’s joke was an opinion or fact. I’m sorry that you didn’t fully comprehend the words that I wrote.

I don’t know. Are you part of “the right”? Maybe you can tell me

And here you are, assuming that I’m part of your American democracy. And again, thank you for attacking me personally just because I was honest and admitted that I’m not an expert on American politics. I do read news sites occasionally actually. Occasionally. Sorry I don’t watch American news 24/7 though. You’re

Lol. Yes, every account with the name Seth in it was made by the same guy. We’re all one collective mind. Beware the Seths!

Thanks for the tip. I’m thinking that all the reasonable people in the comments section should take Erik Schilling’s advice and just collectively leave and migrate over to The Drive.

Yes, the post I made also received more upvotes than anything I’ve ever said on this site. We’re clearly not a small group that feels this way.

I honesty don’t know anything about how Trump is handling COVID. I don’t recall ever saying that I did. I also don’t recall ever saying that I supported Trump and his handling of this situation.

Dear Other Seth, I didn’t say anything about right vs left. I don’t really take sides politically. I didn’t say I was a Trump supporter. I didn’t say that I’m opposed to other races, religions, sex, etc. But thank you for telling me what this blog is all about. It appears I am in the wrong here. I thought this blog

No, I honestly don’t know too much about the current political situation. I’m not saying that the statement was wrong or right. As I said, I’m into cars and not all that political stuff.

That’s a nice anecdote, but it’s really not a valid argument. I can point to hundreds of other blogs (car, motorcycle, video games, etc) that manage to discuss their topic without any random mention of politics. Yes, politics are “part of life” (if we wanna get all philosophical about it), but your cute response makes

Guilty!

But there are literally thousands of other blogs (car blogs, motorcycle, video games, movies, etc) that manage to discuss their content without showing any political opinion whatsoever. As a real world example, I used to follow RideApart religiously (a motorcyle news site), and I cannot recall one mention of politics.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that whenever I criticize the writers here, they respond in a very antagonistic and childish way. They respond by attacking me personally. A lot of the Jalopnik writers lack any sort of professionalism or even manners. As professional writers, they need to learn to be the voice of reason in the

I didn’t bring any political opinion here. If I did, please let me know what that opinion is so I can be made aware.

That’s an interesting perspective. I’ve never seen Jalopnik as a “political voice” until recently. But if that’s the way it is - if this blog is more about politics than cars - then I guess my comment and my advice was misplaced.

I’m not angry. Sorry if my post came off that way. I’m just disappointed, and I’m just trying to give Jalopnik some good advice. I’m not the only person who thinks this car blog should be about cars, so I think it’s important that I say what a lot of people are thinking. I just want this blog, and the community here,

Agreed. Anyone who’s part of the target market (25-45yo), probably has a cousin, uncle, neighbor, or parent who owned a Bronco at some point. The Bronco was sold through the mid ‘90s. It wasn’t as prolific as a 1994 Toyota Camry, but most people do have some sort of real life memory of one.

There’s no evidence of this. There’s actually evidence of the contrary. In case you don’t remember, the Bronco is nothing new. It existed from the 1960's through the mid ‘90s, if my memory is correct. Jeep existed at the same time, and I do believe Ford sold a f**k-ton of Broncos. Toyota also sold a trillion

“The Bronco was in development long before Trump started mishandling a global pandemic.”

Nicholas, you’re treating these 5 common s**tboxes as if they’re 5 exotic supercars awaiting restoration. The only vehicle here that would be hard to replace is the Isuzu Rodeo, but even then, it’s not a collector’s item or anything. So my point is that there is no reason for you to be keeping any of these cars. None
