The issue with video, across all sports right now, is that it’s not being used to confirm or see a “blatantly missed” error. From football to baseball to basketball to soccer, video’s being used to find reasons to disallow scoring (catches, possession, etc) more often than what it’s being used for.

He did get a 2nd opinion from his own doctors in New York and they also cleared him to play. That is why this article is just more of this bs after the fact commentary. So even if you don't want to believe the Warriors doctors, believe KDs then. I suppose Klay tearing an ACL is their fault too. Injuries happen people.

T.J. “Oh Shit!...”?

There’s no way a crash like that could be “hidden” from the NTSB. She claims she woke up in a hospital, which means local law enforcement & EMTs responded to the crash, and would have notified the FAA and NTSB. There was not “minor” damage to the aircraft; an engine exploded and a wing caught fire, and a crash that

Wait until he learns the there’s a NEW Mexico!

Still better odds of living than being a horse at Santa Anita

“Accident” implies lack of intent, not inevitability. Unless you are suggesting the child was trying to hit the other car, then accident is a perfectly valid word to use.

Ironic, since usually it’s Alabama where a person is both “wife and daughter.”

Nothing says “cosmic significance” like dying because some 16 year old was texting or whatever.

An unboliviable tragedy.

Torturing animals for our own amusement is fucked up. And yeah, picking up a wild animal and trapping it and tossing it is traumatizing to the bird, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

You are conflating necessity with disrespect. We slaughter animals because we are omnivores and they taste delicious. But when we grab an animal and treat it like a nonliving, nonfeeling object, that is when we demonstrate a complete lack of empathy. That, is psychopathic, by definition.

So a day that started with “Here’s the knockout in beautiful slow motion” finishes with some good old-fashioned animal abuse.

Yeah I didn’t mean review every aspect. But certainly making sure a game ending goal is within the rules would be helpful.

How about “If you’re willing to spend 10 minutes to see if a players skate was a millimeter over the blue line a minute before a goal was scored you may as well review all obvious errors as well. Or look like incompetent asshats.”

It seems akin to the much-debated issue of diving into or running through first base. There’s some suggestion that, under perfect conditions (ie: no deceleration before diving) and with perfect form, a slide may be slightly faster. But when you factor in a certain degree of human fallibility, such as poor form or a

In DC the no food or drink on the trains rule was very strictly enforced until the recent change mentioned in the article. I would guess that most DC commuters have no idea that the rule is no longer being enforced.

Thought this would be funnier.

“I was just standing around...” sounds suspiciously like something you hear from the red-eyed, shirtless guy with the face tattoos on “COPS” as he’s getting patted down.

Very upset that the Isles don’t have their Sebastian Aho on the big club, denying us an Aho v. Aho series.
