This is an interesting case (I mean of course tragic, but from a legal sense).

Ok, I’m anti gun, but I am confused by your question. As opposed to an automatic? Or are you meaning you should be using something less than a semi automatic?
Frankly I would be happy if they banned all the booby streamers (obviously not girls just playing stuff in a normal top). But like girls in underwear that demand subs and then play “lets dance”.
TRO’s are great at helping protect 99% of people. A judge telling you “Hey, you send even 1 text message you could go to jail for up to a year”. Is a good deterrent for most people.
Yeah, I’m not sure if the gun thing is a federal thing or not. But I was just using that an example. I’m sure there are cities/states that add various restrictions if you have a TRO against you.
There are two games this week. Are you in the US? It is possible that they don’t have the rights to give away both of the games in all the countries?
Protip: If you don’t want to install the EGS client, you can just go to the website and “buy” the free games there. I got a lot of the free games before ever downloading the client.
The same reason there is statutes of limitations on crimes. Generally so one dumb thing doesn’t follow you forever. Also some stuff happens if you have a TRO against you, for example in our state you can’t own a firearm.
My main problem with this is the marketing. It isn’t called “FF7 Remake Part 1". Unless you really are following it, people will buy the game thinking they will get to play the whole game, but no. It’s just 1/10th the actual game.
Interesting. The question mark didn’t occur to me. I think normally it would be “who knows why.” and not “who knows why?”. Because you wouldn’t strictly be asking the audience, but more stating that nobody knows.
Just curious, are you a non-native English speaker? The phrase “who knows why X (or “god knows why X”) is a pretty common phrase. It is common enough where if the author had meant nippori knows why they would have rephrased the sentence to avoid the reading that nippori knows.
Nah, I agree. Yeah you can turn it off, but you’re still paying for all those random LEDs.

The main thing that bothered me about Joker was how often they went “Ok, look at the camera and -feel- things”. There was 5-6 times where there was a rather long scene with the star just dancing or being sad or whatever. If you need a 2 minute scene of the actor just staring at the camera being sad to portray the…
My primary issues with credits are:
1. “Forced” viewing of them (post credit scenes, unskipable credit scenes, etc.)
2. They give the impression that they are accurate, when in fact they have many many issues
3. It is arbitrary which things/people get credits.
4. They don’t succeed at the stated goal (help people get…
Yeah, even so. They are not buying, installing, and then opening up the credits. The credits data could still be provided to sites like MobyGames, but having it in-game doesn’t help anyone.
The companies could provide MobyGames (or whoever) a dump of the data. That dump could also contain much more accurate and contain more detailed explanations of the work team members did. Since this this information doesn’t need to be in a nice movie style crawl. I am skeptical that MobyGames or similar sites are…
Do you think if you are applying to Software Inc. and you put that you did programming on Warcraft 8, they are going load up and beat Warcraft 8 so they can watch the credits? No. They are not.
I saw this post and immediately thought it was Tim posting it, and I found that amusing.
