My condolences on your loss. **HUGS**

I don’t know if mine put it in my bottles, but I was drinking an occasional milky tea with sugar from elementary school on. Now I literally have CABINETS full of teas, several brewers and kettles, but going to Mom’s for a cuppa and a biscuit is still one of my simple joys.

Mom won’t touch those either ;) Believe me, in the heat of summer I’ve tried...

OH MY YESSSSSSSS....

Yeah, a friend of mine raved and raved about it. Found a store in NYC, bought some to try, as well as their ‘advent calendar’. Ended up throwing most of it out because if I wanted my tea to taste like a creme brulee, I’d just go get some creme brulee and be done with it.

My Mom came here from Wales in the 1950s, and lived for a time in Memphis with her sister and her family. The first time she had sweet iced tea? Shocked, disappointed and deeply confused. She still refuses to drink iced tea, even on a hot day.

YES. (looks in work locker at tea collection, realizes what she’s craving is in the tea CABINET at home...)

All my friends love that my Welsh mom immediately offers them a cup of tea when they come to the house because MANNERS.

Aaaaand now I’m craving a good fry-up...

My Nana (bless her) always said that kids won’t thank you for staying. In fact, they may end up resenting that you did.

Sarah McLachlan’s “Ice”. Pretty much the whole song...

I’ll admit to have read the first book and watched the first movie out of curiosity, since my family used to vacation near Forks (in an even smaller town called Sekiu, where we twiddled our thumbs while Dad fished for salmon). Plus I grew up outside of Seattle, and have a love of vampire stories. The rest of the

My Mam’s Welsh (Cardiff, so an easier accent than up the Valleys). I spent an entire summer visiting family when I was a teen and came back with a slight Welsh accent. Would’ve been great to fuck with people, if I’d changed schools...

Still have a tendency to say things like ‘bloody hell’, call people gits, ‘cheeky

always happy to share the comfy caftan love!

Several I’ve purchased on travels to Egypt and Morocco, but I’ve found some lovely ones from Soft Surroundings:

I have an entire wardrobe of caftans...good to know I have a place to wear them all!

if the satire doesn’t come across to anyone else as satire, then is it really satire?

Perhaps she could try just being nice all the time instead of putting on a persona in costume?

Well, someone (her or the professor) dropped the ball then and didn’t clear it first with the Met.

Yeah, I’m calling her on her BS. Much like this couple, who pulled something similar at Buchart Gardens in Victoria, BC awhile back:

Aaaand I’ll be in my bunk...

Back in the dark days of the ‘80s, when movies on VHS often sold for around $80 (because they were mostly purchased to be rented out, not for personal movie collections), I went ahead and bought this at full price.
