@Lemming: Underworld is. Legend and Anniversary were only HD on the 360.

@hsu1eric: Legend and Anniversary—especially Anniversary if you liked the first one. Underworld is kind of meh but you might want to play it if Legend's ending hooks you.
@Xazi2003: Their technology has always had the ability to cross platforms—Anniversary and Legend were on the PS2 as well. PS3 can't be too much of a leap. I'm guessing it's mostly fiddling with graphics.
@aw3str1k3r: Crystal D's TR games were actually received rather well, they just get dismissed so quickly because people remember how horrible Core's later TR games were.
@Technogamer1992: Have you played any of CD's TR games? They're not bad, even fared well critically.
@waranabatokwa: Exactly. Eidos has done a great job keeping most TR games in the market for the fanbase and new players alike—along with this trilogy, you can find several of the old Core TR games on the PlayStation Network.
@darkos87: Well if AoD is what killed it for you, I hope you gave Crystal D's TR games a chance, then. Core killed it, Crystal D brought it back.
@warchief_zuljin: Ouch, don't hate TR just because it's in the spotlight.
@ARYXANDRE: Exactly. This is probably the best way for people to see for themselves what TR is all about.
@Sunwind: Yes, they're quite good and a lot better than the previous games developed by Core. Crystal Dynamics did a great job. TR Anniversary is a rather underappreciated game.
As a fan I've noticed something in Tomb Raider worth reiterating, something beyond gameplay and a pretty girl that would be hard to translate to a new IP.
@thecactusman17: If anything, this comment is an example of how a reboot can breathe new life, interest and success into an aging franchise.
@lankist: Didn't play the Nepal or Kazakhstan levels? Lara's clothes were rather practical in those. Also, her comments through the levels betray a little bit more vulnerability and character, as she regrets killing that first animal, she's freezing in the KGB base, she feels sorry for the dead scientists and she's…
@lankist: Well, I'm confident that if you played Legend or Anniversary, you'd see there's more there than just a gun-toting bimbo. A lot more. Crystal did a great job reworking Lara for those games.
@jayntampa: I wouldn't jump to the feminist offensive. I don't think he really thinks a beat-up woman is sexy.
@lankist: Lara actually kills the t-rex in Anniversary by luring it into traps. You fail.
@xhedgehogx: The TR engine is actually rather capable. They're using it for Deus Ex. The graphics also are pretty competitive, IMHO.
@Ash Paulsen: You're being rather presumptuous yourself, assuming based on the franchise's past nature rather than the material we've been given. If everything aside from the ripped clothing is realistic rather than sexual in intent, I think we can assume the same for the ripped clothing. You're making an appeal to…
@ziekthebluelightning: Yup, and only men can get their clothes ripped without it being sexual.
@Limeade: You're probably expecting a sexualized image because that's been the Lara norm thus far.
